Would not reccomend to anyone, he doesn't know how to teach and literally just copies EVERYTHING from the textbook word for word , including assignments. Very mean marker. Constantly leaving the country and assigning grad students to teach was not a good idea considering he was gone right up until the last lecture of the semester. AWFUL professor

Comment:

Gives out assignment questions as exercises from the textbook, forcing you to buy it. Posts assignment solutions ON PAPER, IN THE LIBRARY. Sent a grad student to cover up the week of the midterm, and the entire last week of classes. Notes are messy, but overall a good teacher. If you are fine with his way of teaching, good for you. Wasn't for me.

Very set it his ways, does not use the online resources effectively. Places one copy of solutions for assignments/tests at the library and expects all students to be all to view them. Only thing posted on his website is the assignments(which he hands out anyway) and the course outline.

Dr. Pike was a great prof for this intro to linear algebra course. Gave very organized lectures, good assignments, fair midterm, and a pretty easy final. 2050 is a little dull so the lectures can be a bit dry, but it's still a good course and Dr. Pike was a great prof.

Always a pleasure. Definitely one of the clearest lecturers! Dr Pike is very dedicated to motivating the students by making the material interesting. He has a teaching award and I believe it.
