Sweet lady, not the best teacher though. She teaches things as if you have prior knowledge of the material which is frustrating. She doesn't mind going over things with you but she'll explain it in the exact same way. She is very understanding as well as considerate when grading. Wouldn't recommend her though.

Took MTH245 over the summer. 4 hour lectures are brutal but you will fall behind if you miss one class. Be prepared to do a lot of work outside of class on Pearson. You're going to have to teach yourself the material. There's a lot of tests, quizzes, and projects but if you're willing to put in the work, you'll be able to do well.

I loved Mrs. Ellers class. She is a very good math professor. She expects you to be in class as much as possible to have all your work caught up. If you start missing class, you will fall behind! Mrs. Eller cares a lot about helping the students understand the material. As long as you do what is expected of you, youll get good grades and pass.

Ms. Eller is a very kind person but an absolutely horrible teacher. She constantly makes mistakes and doesn't seem to understand the material well enough to be teaching. Her lectures are practically pointless because she simply cannot explain difficult concepts. This made the class extremely frustrating, and I was forced to learn on my own.

Professor Eller is extremely helpful and organized. At the beginning of the semester she provided the whole class with every set of notes already printed and the assignments. The tests are easy because she gives an almost identical practice test the class before. As long as you show up to class and complete the homework assignments you will pass.

I took her developmental math courses, she was helpful. Did seem to have a few favorites, but did not ignore those that needed help if they just asked. Took a little while to get responses through email though.

Ms. Eller is extremely helpful. The MTE's can be difficult but she provides help and makes sure you understand the content. She is extremely positive and supportive and easy to reach. She replies to emails and phone messages in a timely fashion. Show up for classes and give a serious effort towards the work and she is very easy to get along with.

Just took her class, had a different teacher before her because previous one retired. Had perfect attendance, have a full time job, and used every free second working on hw. Her class was the only one I was taking at the time. Expect to learn on your own. Unprofessional, and jumps to conclusions without time for explanation. DO NOT TAKE HER!

The class itself is not mandatory, but if you want to do well, and receive help if you get stuck, you will want to go. She is very helpful and if you get stuck on a problem or concept, as long as you have been coming to class, she is help you in anyway. Get Math teacher.. and I don't like math :)

Not a very helpful teacher. Very unclear about the work in class and the homework; however, she is very lenient with grades and tests. She is more helpful if you come to her one-on-one, which she is very open to doing. Wouldn't really recommend her, but I haven't heard of any better math professors at BRCC

Ms. Eller is the WORST teacher I have EVER had at BRCC. She doesn't know how to spread her time around to the whole class therefore she has a few favorites she helps the majority of the time. Yes she will work with you if you get behind but if you really need help you can forget it! Half the time she doesn't even know what shes doing! DONT TAKE HER

Hard Class. Not looking for a Teacher to hold my hand, at one point I was spending 6 hours a day on this algebra stuff, but I do at least expect some one who can teach, not someone whose teaching style seems more like "would you like fry's with that order?". Eller plays favorites and if you r not one of them you WILL be learning it on your own.

A hard class for those of us who suck at math. She's not so bad, though. I've had her twice and will try to take her again if I can. She's always willing to help you and will go to some trouble to make sure you finish the class. Sometimes will give you hints on a test. BUT...you do need to work hard and prove to her that you're trying.
