Prof. Scollard is the dept. head for computer science, and she's earned it. This was a writing class but she applies her logic and her warm personality to make the classes a pleasure. Class was not easy, and there were many papers (did I mention it's a writing class?) but you will learn a lot with Sharon.

She is supportive, encouraging and as long as you show up regularly and complete work in class it's a breeze with this professor. She encourages you to be a better you and enhance your learning with activities outside of school. Very kind human being inside and outside of the classroom. One of the very best teachers out there. She explains so well.. You never feel sleepy in her class. Knows her stuff very well. Just follow the class well and there won't be anything that you can't really handle. A very humble and nice human being who cares about the welfare of her students as well. Would give her 7 stars instead of 5 if I could.

what a GREAT teacher and person. i want to have this woman around after i graduate. she makes all classes fun. excellent people & teaching skills. extremely approachable & understanding. her intelligence is amazing, gotta be the smartest woman in the department. i can't think of anything bad to say.

Inconsistent with her marking, hudge mistakes on exams, and power points but expects her students to be much better than her , her excuse "ur 5th semester now, you should know better". I dont think she has any teaching abilities or talents. Go to teachers college plz, and learn some ppl skills.

I've had Sharon 4 times in 3 years, and it's the only good thing that's happened to me in Mohawk. I've never seen anyone as approachable, helpful and understanding as her. This woman should be rewarded a medal for her personality and teaching. Any help you need in the CS department, just go to her.

SIMPLY THE BEST! Marks easy, understanding, EXTREMELY HELPFUL, interesting, fun, makes you feel like you're her favourite student even though you might be an as*hole. She could dress more formally and stop drinking so much diet coke though.
