Comment:
Literally the worst professor I've ever had in my life. He is incredibly rude and speaks down to his students. He refuses to communicate with students outside of class (i.e. emails) and tries to skim around accommodations.

Spencer is a kind and funny person. He took an interest in what his students did outside of class and really showed that he cared, but he had an atrocious lack of communication with students. Many tests were announced the day before or the day of. He was very quick with grading, but failed to provide feedback other than a green or red highlight.

I know COVID has made this past semester weird for everyone. However, Morrison was not willing to be a better communicator or grader. Class preps are due via email but he did not grade ANY until the class was over. Class preps are your study material so if you were doing something wrong the first time, you would find out way too late to fix it.

Comment:
Professor Morrison is clearly passionate about psychology, but is unfortunately a terrible communicator. He would rather communicate by the online calendar rather than directly, including never replying to emails. He changed the date of an exam twice and put up a quiz two days before it was due, both with NO NOTICE. Would not recommend.

Our classes moved online, we had no lectures. Just 15-minute videos. Even before the transition, the material to study for the exam was based on class preps that YOU had to make and he would not tell you if you got it right or wrong. I ended up losing my A because I learnt something wrong from the class preps. He even grades the class preps :.

I enjoyed this class. One issue is that Professor Morrison will not tell you if your homework is correct or not, so you have to attend class to see if your answers are correct. This made it difficult because your homework is also your study guide for exams. Other than that, the class was fun and the professor has a good sense of humor.

No help or guidance for exam study will not give any conformation of correct answers on assignments. Changes the textbook with no notice you will read something but he thinks it should be different and is not clear or does not tell you. Not enough assignments to keep a good idea of course work.

Spencer is by far the worst prof I've had at FRCC. He hasn't provided a schedule for the semester, so you don't know when assignments will be due in advance. He provides little-to-no feedback and takes forever to post grades online. When I sent him an email about my grievances/requests, he never replied. Please don't sign up for one of his classes!

I've had Spencer before, but it seems he got worse in a sense. His syllabus is difficult to understand, you won't know when things are due ahead of time, and his class was a waste of time. He says you only have to study the class preps for his class, but he never gives the correct answers for them.

Spencer is passionate about psychology but I found frustrating as a teacher. He believed in students finding the answer talking among their peers to double check it. He rarely offered direct answers and when he did they were to the easy questions. He was very willing to help with anyone struggling and set up the class for the student to succeed.

Spencer was an interesting professor but he wasn't bad. Sometimes he was hard to listen to, but he works to make the class interactive to get students learning more. There was a text book but it was online and it was only used to do homework, which wasn't hard at all.

Spencer gave an entertaining spin on psychology, and I absolutely loved his enthusiasm. Though his classes are hard, he wants to challenge his students so that they can learn as much as possible and then be able to apply their knowledge to the "real world." I thoroughly enjoyed having him as my professor, and would gladly take him again!

Spencer is the poorest teacher at FRCC. He has a hard time communicating effectively and his syllabus and curriculum is like solving a very difficult puzzle. He is not helpful at all. His worksheets are an incoherent mess, as my english teacher laughed at. He does not teach anything new, just puts up slides that come directly from the book.

Spencer is an amazing teacher. He's tough, but very willing to help you succeed. His love of psychology shows through during class. Be prepared, he takes everyone's picture on the first day of class so he can memorize names. Take any of his classes and you won't be disappointed.
