He is a great acting teacher. That being said, can be a little creepy with the female students. Aside from that, he really makes you grow as an actor. Be prepared to read a ton of plays and ALWAYS be prepared. He will call you out on your BS.

Doc is the best. took him for acting for the non-major. This class was so amazing i would not miss it at any cost. Sometimes his directions are a bit unclear especially if you are not a theater wiz kid but he is great with people of every skill level. would take again in a second!

There's no better theater prof. than Doc. This comes from a finance major that has no interest in theater whatsoever. I went to lecture because he always put on a show. He's hilarious and very entertaining. And of course he knows his stuff. Despite having no passion for performing arts I gave my very best and ended up with a fair grade. Take him.

Doc is the best Theater teacher I've ever had. I've learned more in this one semester than I did in an entire high school career of theater classes. He knows the ins and outs of the business and has tons of experience directing, writing and acting. If you get the chance, definitely take his class!

Doc is the man! This class was a lot of fun. Half class, half Broadway shows. Had to write papers but short and somewhat easy. Easy going professor, not a hard grader. Knows his theater. Would definitely recommend him. He has some great stories as well. Take this class! It's fun and interesting.
