As long as you listen during lectures you will be okay. The homework takes about an hour. The class material is boring but the teacher makes it a fun by coming up with clingy but funny stories and puns. Make sure you come to class, if you miss one you'll be lost.

Professor Colella makes business law a fun class to take. As long as you do the homework and listen to him during lectures it is an easy class. He makes participation fun and his class is not a drag.

Professor Colella was AWFUL! He does not give proper nor helpful lessons on tax, but rather wastes your money rambling about the MCU. He assigns homework that take long to finish. In addition, his exams are ridiculously hard especially since you teach all the material to yourself, and TAX is not the kind of stuff you learn without a professional.

Assigns bounch if homework but never give any feedback on them and don't even tell your midterm grade so you have no idea how you doing in class untill the letter grade is outtalks about random stuff that doesn't relate to class material and the review session doesn't help much

Professor Colella is a solid choice. He'll spend half the class taking about Tax and the other half about the MCU universe but somehow relates the two. Short 30 minute homework assignments due before each chapter we start. Grades homework based on completeness not correctness which is helpful

Show up to his class to pass, but all he does is ramble on about COMPLETELY unrelated stuff to the course. The whole 3 hours.. just talking about nothing. If attendance wasn't mandatory I wouldn't show up and just do the homework and put it in his mailbox. Big fat waste of time in my opinion.

super funny guy with interesting lectures. midterm and final are really easy because he gives a review of everything you need to know. never gives back homework grades so you don't know how you're doing on them but it doesn't really matter. don't know why the other reviews are so harsh it's a pretty solid class

He assigns a bunch of homework and case problems but never returns the work after submission. He doesn't give notes to the class, you have to take your own. The class is basically graded off of two exams.

Professor Colella is a nice guy, but not the best professor. He's very smart, but gives a lot of reading and work per week, and never gives you feedback on it. It's very challenging. There are countless definitions and concepts that you need to memorize. My recommendation is to take notes as you do the weekly reading to stay on top of everything.

Please... just dont take him. His grading criteria is so vague, it solely revolves around the midterm and final. The homeworks are lengthy as well. All youll be hearing is You cant make this stuff up from him every class. Also be prepared to take notes because he doesnt provide you with anything really...

He talks about movies. He's a cool guy, but his class is so hard as he's not clear. His study guides are so unclear, he doesn't even give out study guides actually he just says things ??? anyways a lot of homework and i dont recommend taking him :/

The course itself is challenging. Some aspects will make sense, some very confusing. The 2 tests are very tricky and account for 85% of the course grade! The professor is extremely knowledgeable and can be sarcastic in a funny way. He certainly tries to make it fun, thus I enjoy the course. If you don't thoroughly read the book, you will fail.

really good at lecturing, makes you want to learn each topic. the homework are long and you'll never get any grades back. even with tests (which are confusing, not anything like the lectures). you'll think you did fine but almost fail the course and have to beg to know why/your breakdown because he won't tell you grades during the semester

He is highly intelligent and the lectures cover exactly what the student is expected to know. However, he assigns and expects a long homework assignment each week that was never graded or handed back with any kind of comment. Would avoid if you are interested in law; take if you are a business student just trying to pass and move on.

Great Professor! He is very passionate about estate planning, and his lectures reflect that. He comes well-prepared, and does a great job in preparing you for the midterm and final. You can't go wrong if you participate in class and put in a little effort.
