She is caring, understanding and can see your work effort. This class was a lab synchronous/ lec asynchronous so it also required a lot more solo work. This course takes a lot of work so honestly, if you're constantly full of excuses, no you wont get an A. She also gives extra credit work and on exams. Good Luck.

To be honest, I was scared to take this class but Professor Koroch made it easy. She is very understanding and ready to help her students in any difficulties. I would love to take her class again in the future.

I had professor Koroch in Fall of 2019. Her class was difficult but it prepared me for my career in PT. She taught us how to make study guides that would prepare us for her exams, I could never do well on short answers, but with her help it became easier. This class isn't an easy A, but you can use what you learn in other courses and in life.

looking at the reviews i took her but oh god. her exams were very hard. the only way to pass the class is if you participate and she likes you and thinks u know the material. she grades very tough. her lab quizzes are also very difficult. she makes the exams herself. if you are looking into this class make sure you are prepared to study for hours.

Professor Koroch is a woman of real passion and integrity. - Organised outline for weekly assignments. - It is biology, so you have to read, so prepare for it. - Very engaging and professional. - Office hours are a big plus to help you stay on track. - Participation is key- you will not get left behind if you participate. - Optimistic environment.

This professor is so evil. DO NOT TAKE her. She gives you less than 1 hr to answer 45 questions. You are rush to take her exams. Her questions are super long. She does not teach you anything in class. She organized groups to work in lab sections. She comes and check once in a blue moon. If you want an F go ahead. Good luck!

The worst professor ever! She did not teach anything in class. She basically put us in group and make us do the lab version of the class. She is giving us 45 multiple questions to answer in 50 minutes. You are rushed to take all exams and are not allowed to go back. This professor gives tons of work. She gave most students a C. Horrible professor.

The worst professor I have ever taken I never had any issues with any bmcc professor until I took her class she doesnt teach at all she split us into group and appeared every 15-20 minutes said a few things and left then the exams are difficult not enough time ,

She is not a great professor! She only teaches the lab portion and the lecture portion, you are on your own. You must read the textbook. If you don't read the textbook, you will have a hard time passing the class! She doesn't explain the material well. I wouldn't take her!

Professor Koroch is an amazing professor! You MUST take her if you want your introductory BIO well established for your BIO related career. Even though COVID19 made classroom situations so difficult, she managed to make the course well learned; she was extremely understanding when I was taking classes at a different time zone. She is a real gem!!

She gives you quizzes for every lab that you covered from last week. If you want to get good grades, you have to work for it. For example, read the chapter ahead, and review the labs. Get ready for the quizzes that she gives you every week, it is not so easy. However, though, she is a good professor.

Took her over the summer, I was honestly scared after reading the bad reviews on here but as I took her class, she seems to be understanding as long as you talk to her about your problem. If you want to request something and it's reasonable, she will grant it. Other than that, you must read textbook before class, because her lectures were not enoug

Professor Koroch is an amazing professor! She has immense passion for science and her energy is passed on to the whole class. She is not one of those professors who just read off the slides. She really cares whether the class understands the material and takes the time and effort to deliver it in a very interesting and clear way. Take her class!

Professor Koroch is a phenomenal professor. She leads with a true passion for science and desire to educate. Her goal is not to have students memorize and regurgitate information, but rather educate and empower her students to teach themselves. The textbook used is great (I suggest getting the digital version). Definitely take her section!

Thanks Professor Koroch for the A. I did work hard, but it was worth it. I took her course during the pandemic and was so impressed by the way that she transferred to the digital platform and answered questions/concerns without hesitation. She helped me learn. Professor Koroch requires students to study, and READ. That's a good thing. When she notices that you care, she will have your back. If you are unsure of a topic, she will consult with you until you get it. I got an A in her class, and I'm not extremely smart. Just hard working. She cares when you care. Just the way it should be.

I took her Bio 220 and 210. She helped me get A's in both. She also dedicated hours just for office hours. I respect her. I am so glad I had her for Biology. Many of her students are published, and have research experience which can be attributed to her connections. Very brilliant woman. She is a feminist, and an inspiring person in my life.
