Very easy class. Him and his models are always late so you can show up 20 minutes into the class without getting marked late yourself. You just do a few warm-up drawings then a few good ones every class, almost always using charcoal. That's literally the entire class. Nice guy, let's you out early too.

i've known him for a long time and he's really been there for me. he takes a genuine interest in the students who aren't there to fool around, and will bend over backwards for you if he knows you care about your future. he doesn't waste his time with anyone who doesn't deserve it. he's HUGELY successful, but you'd never know because he's so humble.

He is a great guy! Likes to talk... is like 1/2 hour late sometimes.. doesnt keep you till the end, but thinks its disrespectful to him if you leave early or dont show up... If you need help, just ask him he will help you A LOT!!! He showed me some great techniques that helped my paintings a lot! I give him an A! take him!

Hes a very nice guy who will help u every step of the way if u need it, only if u seem interested in ur work. Even after his class is over if u need him for anything he's always there to help. I dont know anyone who wouldnt take his class again. Hes always late though, which can be a good thing

His laid-back style is fun, but you won't learn a lot about the "technical" aspects of color, which could come back to haunt you come portfolio review time. Otherwise, an easy class, but seriously, sometimes "easy" is TOO easy...like the saying goes: a lazy man walks the same road twice.

He's an extremely nice person. Unfortunately, he's not very clear about the assignments. I've been confused more than once as to what we're supposed to do, and others I've talked to say the same. He really doesn't give us any examples of what he wants us to do, and his critiques confused me more.

he doesnt put any strain on you, but i wish he did. i didnt feel compelled to do the work because he acted like the class was somewhat of a joke, so the students took it that way as well. if you are an art major and want a challenge i wouldnt suggest him.

magistro is a cool dude, he doesnt care what time you come in, as long as you got what you need done. Hes very laid back and understanding. He does sometimes take over your painting but he also asks if you mind, so if you dont want him to just tell him. i would take him again definetly.

talks,gossips too much.it is very annoying that he paints on your own painting and, possibly finishes it for you. he spends time showing people who r taking his class for credit only how to paint, and ignores good painters. you don't produce much in class

Easy professor, loves talking to his students about various subjects, will teach you if he knows that you are interested. He will ignore you if you suck and know about it. Put time into your work when he is in class and you will get an A. Leaves early.
