Dr. Gulley doesn't make this class harder than it needs to be. I'm not the best when it comes to physics, but I still got an A. We had 4 exams during the semester with a final at the end (extra credit surveys for tests), homework and breakout help better understand the concepts. Not an easy class but would def would recommend to take Dr. Gulley.

He's a good lab professor. He explains the topics well, he's a nice guy, and he's pretty good at getting stuff graded in a decent time period. He and the TA are helpful and do a good job in my opinion. Don't know what his lecture is like, but if he were an option, I would def take him.

During labs, Mr. Gulley and the TA were always there to help with confusion. At first, reading the instructions of labs were confusing to me, but Mr. Gulley always responds to emails and clears all confusion through them. He does the same in person as well. Ask questions and they will be answered! Great teacher with clear and concise labs!

This was my first year taking physics and saying it was hard was an understatement. If it wasn't for Professor Gulley's VERY generous grading system I would've failed 100%. He is a great professor and honestly taught the material in the best way he could. Weekly online homework, participation and attendance taken, 6 tests, and a final.

Dr. Gulley is one of the best professors out there!!! I probably wouldn't have passed physics if it wasn't for him. He cares so much about his students and their success! He is super responsive to emails and will help you as much as possible. He literally made a PDF title with my name on it to answer all of my questions. 10/10. Love Jeremy!!

Prof. Gulley is one of the funniest, most thoughtful & caring professors I have ever had. He genuinely wants you to learn and know the material. Work hard and he will notice, even if your grades aren't the best. Even if I failed this class entirely I would still retake him. Awesome awesome guy!

Dr Gulley is awesome! i took him for Phys 1 lab and i did not regret it at all! He doesn't give exams only labs. Once you are done taking data in the lab you can leave. There's only 11 labs and he drops the lowest graded lab. technically if you do well on 10 labs you get to sit out the last lab. HE IS AN EASY A FOR LAB!

This man is an absolute genius! I went in to this semester thinking the class would be a nightmare, but he makes it anything but that. Read the textbook before class so you can understand his lectures better, which are the most impressive I have ever seen. I was never confused with any of his responses to my questions. Physics will never be easier!

He's pretty funny which makes his lectures entertaining. Just do the homework, go to class , and do the practice tests. Make sure you know how to the each type of problem that is worked out in lecture. Although this is calculus based, there is only 1 calculus question per test and it's usually something simple like a derivative or an integral.

Can't be trusted. Said Final Exam would be 'easy' and 'medium' questions. Nope, 16 q's sums up the entire course, with most by far being difficult questions. He 'forgot' to supply students with constants, AND, forgot to include mass on a long problem. Said semester exams were the best study guide. Only ONE problem resembled any of the tests.

Gulley is a caring person but made his course much too difficult for it to truly be an introductory physics course. Expect homework! Gulley provides practice tests before each exam; however, beware that his practice tests are easier and often nothing like the ones given in class. There are very few who made an A in this course out of almost 50.

Gulley is awesome. Night and day difference from my phys 1 professor. I'm a borderline A right now and in phys 1 I barely had a C. His tests are very fair, and he gives previous years tests to study. One of the best ive had so far. Very smart guy, and hes willing to help and enjoys explaining things to you. Hes a very fair grader

I was terrible at physics 1, but managed to pass with a C. I'm taking Gulley for PHYS 2 now and it's a night and day difference. He gives amazing lectures, and actually explains in detail what he's doing. His test wasn't too easy, but I don't expect to ever find an easy physics test. If you have to take PHYS 2, sign up with this guy.

Dr. Gulley is the best physics teacher I've ever had. His lectures are available online and it contains everything you need for his exams. He walks through problems step by step, and he allowed us to remediate exams for half our points back. Recitations are mandatory, but not on test weeks. I enjoy his class, and he has a very nice speaking voice.

2212. genuine, approachable, and an extraordinary instructor. Has sat with me a couple of times one on one and after recitation explaining concepts I was having difficulties with. PHYS II is much more challenging that 1 there's no getting around it. 4 tests then recitation 10% and HW is 20%. Test 1 material seemed to be most difficult so keep at it

I'll be real here. Gulley is the type who is very caring, and wants you to succeed. However, it seems as though his teaching style is meant more for a place like Tech or MIT, not Kennesaw State. He is practically a genius, and I feel as though he's better off teaching upper level physics courses. Amazing guy, but very difficult class.

Where do I even begin. Gulley is very nice, and a great professor, but it feels like he's speaking another language when he teaches. His tests are incredibly difficult, and the people who say that he's not that hard are either physics geniuses or the ones that are teacher's pets. I am warning you, take someone else. An A is pretty much impossible.

Best professor I have had so far with KSU. The way he teaches is amazing. He is helpful explains hard concepts very well and takes his time. The material isn't easy, so no it won't be an easy A course no physics 2 lecture really is. He is fair in terms of grading exams. I wish I could take him for all my courses. Overall an A+ professor.

Such a nice guy, but VERY tough tests. He tries to be gracious with grading, but it doesn't help when you get a 50 on his test WITH THE CURVE!I wish I had taken someone else. Sure, I will thoroughly learn the material, but probably at the cost of failing his class. AVOID!!!
