Taught half the classes; the other half was done with an on-line program (which was actually better than he was). He had quite an attitude about himself, thinking he was quite cool. Classes weren't as structured as they should have been. Final exams could be done by groups of students; thus, if you did it on your own, you were penalized.

Honestly, I didn't learn anything he taught this semester because he didn't go through the basic introduction stuff for this class. He teach us random stuff doesn't help us on the assignments. no midterm or final but 7 assignments (work in a group) = your grade. i'm just glad my group helps me out. It's hard to learn from him if you are a beginner.

Derivatives! Class meets every other week. Great online component that focuses on pricing. Tucker's lectures focus on complex applications/case studies. Real world and why I came to NY. Hull textbook and software are great too. Tight course.

Last-minute replacement for Dr. Teall. Slow start. But turning out to be a good course. No exams. Just projects. Group work. But my group is good. Course content is basically learning a series of tools for future course work. REALLY handsome.

He is definitely bright and knowledgeable. Ask him a lot of questions on the take home exams. He is very helpful. Read the book, his slides and articles. The only issue I have with this professor is that he thinks he's talking to traders/investment bankers during the lecture. Half the time I didn't understand what he was talking about.

Smartest Guy you'll ever meet. This class is tough but so is the subject matter. loves to say "Term of Art". Seems intimidating at first but he is actually very helpful and quite personable. One of Pace's few truely exceptional professors.

Very interesting and contemporary class. Good case studies. Midterm looks time consuming but not too difficult. Technology in classroom is poor. Overall one of the better profs in the MBA program.

I've taken both courses taught by Dr. Tucker (Fixed Income, Derivatives). Among the best professors at Pace. Material is covered thoroughly, and definitely worth your $. If you're thinking on electives, and you're serious about Finance then Tucker is a MUST. For those underclassmen, looking for a challenge: Fin 301 & 351 with Teall, electives with

He could be very rude and shallow sometimes. If he is so smart, my question is why is he wasting his time teaching at Pace??? Saw him driving Nissan Altima and wearing Movado, that doesn't sound rich & sexy to me!!!

Very smart. He's just a prick and knows he's better than you. Don't let it get to you. Even though he will be rude and make you feel like****, you will learn a lot and he's 'real-world' so you actually know how traders talk and how the market works. Not just a textbook teacher.
