He is a very laid back teacher but just talks in circles not really saying much. His hand writing is terrible, so you cant understand what he writes on the bored. He is also boring so people just text in class all day. You cant understand the concepts of how he grades tests and he dosnt answer question about tests. take him at your own risk

I had him for Religion of the World, and I did terrible on the first 3 tests, rocked out the final, and my semester project (a 10 page interview with someone religious) got an A. After all the curving and whatnot, I got a B+. He's kinda rude, but he gets the teachings across well enough. Just try to stay awake.

Morely is great. His lectures are really interesting. He is a fair grader and he hates wasting class time. If I could, I would take him for every class.

Not worth it. Avoid if you can. He is an ornary old man who get's off topic easily and doesn't like answering questions. His notes are chicken scratch. He expects you to know the Bible as well, and he got upset when the class didn't know it.

Lectures are boring, and he uses up all the time. HOWEVER, his course is really straightforward. Take notes, read the chapter, and you're golden. There are legit no surprises. If you do really well, it's because you studied. If you fail, its because you took no notes. Easy class, if you are willing to put in MAX an hour of study time. Nice guy too.

Understand that though it may not seem that way at first, this man is BRILLIANT. A lot of extremely intelligent ppl have a hard time relating to idiots and morons and undergrads. Take him as a grad, and you'll have a much different experience. He's amazing, just the smartest guy I've ever met.

His writing on the board can look like a 2 year old wrote it, he tries to teach the material but will go off topic and spend 3/4 of the class talking aobut nothing relating to what you need to know for tests. He grades hard and like a moron and puts stuff on the test that was no taught or even in the book. AVOID

Focuses on letting you know how important religion is, "It's always in the news!" That's all you'll hear for the first month. He's very boring and skips over most of the things on the outline but it will be on the tests. Very harsh grader, takes off for everything. Class would've been interesting if he just taught about the actual religions.

Rev. Prof. Morley is a really nice guy to talk to and is very interested in his students, but I would not recommend taking his class at all. He is mostly concerned with not offending everyone and religion in the news. I learned more in my high school religion class than in his. It is way too much work for a core class also. The project is miserable

Hate him, worst professor I've ever had. Opinionated, biased, senile, old, annoying, asinine. If you are of a non-white ethnicity he will pester you with stereotypical questions. He spits... DO NOT SIT IN FRONT ROW... you'll leave feeling like you've just gotten off the log flume. Who's idea was it to let a priest teach world religions?

He constantly stammers while speaking because he is afraid to offend other faiths. Bcuz of this he is very confusing nd hard to pay attention 2, though he does give most of the info in handouts, and most of the rest can b found in the book.

If you feel insulted by him, perhaps you should ask yourself why. This guy is a fountain of knowledge, and if he appears to be a little cranky, perhaps it's only because he has a low tolerance for undergraduate stupidity. Very good professor, I would definitely take him again.

Fr. Morley is a nice enough guy, but a terribly boring professor. His class is challenging. He is impatient and can be demeaning. I wouldn't recommend this class for anyone who has difficulty staying awake while a priest drones on for hours.

This is a shame,TOO BAD THAT YOU ARE ALL A BUNCH OF SLACKERS WHO DISRESPECT A CARING PRIEST. Fr. Morley has taught me things about my own religion that I didnt know, he also as a priest has the ability to teach other religions and do it in a manner that is not offensive to anyone. It's a shame he has to deal with some of the people in this forum.

Not sure who some others on here are talking about but my experience with Fr. Morley was fantastic. The guy was warm, caring, good sense of humor and very knowledgeable. His class isn't that easy but when your paying for an education why should it be. Slackers should definitely not take any of his classes.

By far the worst professor I've ever had. Opinionated, mean, assinine, insulting, impatient, I can go on for days. Seeing how he's a priest and should be open, warm, kind and accepting of other religions, it was really offensive to see just how biased and

A challenging professor...not for slackers. I found him approachable and he cleared up a few points for me, and I didn't feel like he was tearing me down or being rude at all. But he makes you work--this class is not for the lazy!
