Great Professor! Do ALL H.W NEATLY (highlight # problems & answers)! He gives Pre-Quizes (study guide) before a Quiz. Do ALL Pre-Quiz problems over and over- you'll pass the Quiz. (Ask for Pre-Quiz early so you can do those problems everyday until the day of the Quiz). If you have a hard time understanding something, GO to Math Lab! It's HELPFUL!!

This is the worst Math teacher ever and I use to love doing Math until I meet him. Did not like the fact that he would talk bad about his past relationships, I mean if you want to talk about them its okay just make them interesting and about Math. Plus too many mistakes, and then would get made if we made them.

This instructor is very clear on how to pass class: Read ch. section before it is taught & attend BTC when something is not clear. Is super nice & funny! My avg. grade in other math classes: C-. How bad I am at math: had to take 250 Arithmetic (lowest one), 256 Alg topics, 201 Elementary Alg, 103 Intermediate Alg. Basically all before Math 11.

He is a fairly complicated teacher. He does make mistakes but wont get angry if he is corrected. He prints out all the notes for you and his tests are a piece of cake. He let's you use models so its just following those. Do you homework because it is easy pints and do NOT be absent

I took precalc with him my freshman year. worst math instructor ever. I agree with the rest of the students, he makes so many mistakes. His teaching styles are old school (homework is from the book, show your work and fill in the blank tests, and he writes all his notes on the whiteboard)

Marvin needs to wear his glasses and get a hearing aid. He makes mistakes while he is writing on the board and if you correct him...look out! He needs to retire and let some new blood into the game of math teaching.

This is college so he will teach you but you must read the book too & use his office hrs. He is EASY with test because he gives you a pre quiz with the same EXACT problems just diff. #'s. Math is my worst subj & I got an A because he allows you to use a model problem on test to help guide you. Do the prob EXACTLY like the model. GO TO THE TUTORING!

Nice teacher in reedley college for math courses. Tests are very easy. Math 7 (differential equations) is a hardest course but Mr. watt make this class really simple and easiest.

He is a nice guy funny at times but he is very confusing at teaching. He won't baby sit anyone you can pass his class if you really really try hard I HIGHLY recommend making a study group

I have had a few bad math teachers, but Watz trumps all teachers in my 3+ college career. Being a Math major I already understood the work but what he says doesn't make sense. His lectures he shows his back to you and reads of the worksheets he hands out.Can't explain things clearly when asked about his worksheets.He is the reason Ill be a teacher

Knows his math, but horrible at teaching it. I went to office hours frequently and only then could I get a partial understanding. Completely unorganized: papers all over, and not surprisingly my HW got lost in that tornado. Lectures just as messy. Concepts aren't nearly as hard as he teaches them to be. Still possible to do well with a ton of work

I have no problem taking a difficult cousre, but there is a difference from being difficult and impossible. Marv Makes the cousre a lot tougher than it should be. He is unclear when explaining and will mark you off for every little mistake. I would STRONGLY suggest taking another professor. Watts is the worst teacher I have ever had.

If you want to be one of his favorites, sit in the first two rows! He's terrible at explaining problems, and often doesn't even know what he's doing. Always goes off in random topics, like gambling, smoking, and his life stories. Not a good math teacher.

If your expecting a math class where the teacher teaches then this class isn't for you. Got a question for him? Too bad because he'll ask if you read the text book and your notes. It's never "because, because, because" when he's teaching us new things, it's always "why, why, why" as if we're supposed to know right off the bat

He did not explain the concepts well. I had to read the textbook after every class in order to know what he was talking about it. He told us to figure stuff out ourselves rather than explaining it like a teacher should do. Though if you go to him personally he'll tell you straight up if you should drop the class or not.
