Comment:

Ms. Vintu is very nice. Used MyMathLab w/ no Canvas. What I didn't like was the mid-term/final was over half the entire grade. This means if you want to get an A you can't play around and you got to come in and put in the work. Study yourself and use outside resources. This was not an easy A but I'm happy because I actually learned something.

Professor Vintu seems like a nice lady, but the disconnect between herself and the students while teaching virtually is galaxies away. Want to stare at a whiteboard on a blurry camera with glare right from a lamp for an hour and a half twice a week? Than this class is for you. Goes over the simplest arithmetic until you feel like a child.

Professor Vintu is amazing! In this pandemic she has been extremely caring and understanding of everyones life. Her lectures were long, but really informative and she answered questions as best as she could. She even offered to email you with more information after her online lectures to make sure you got it. I wish I had her for every math class!

Professor Vintu is a good teacher and she listens to your concerns and struggles. This class moved from the classroom to online due to Covid 19 but she was virtual live for each class, so you were able to see her work out problems and answer questions directly. You must participate in this class. Mathlab was a requirement for this class, no book

I had the pleasure of having Professor Vintu as my Elementary Algebra professor. She was concise, clear, in-depth as well as constantly reaching out to touch base if I ever needed assistance. She also provided the option to work on past modules to improve my grade so that I would be satisfied with the score I earned.

She is very engaging with the curriculum in her lectures, most of them are online, however, she still does her best to help her students. The tests can be hard if there is no way to get to the modules that she provides but the powerpoints do also help with the homework even though the powerpoints don't cover most of the problems it still does help.

Professor Vintu gives you a workable hw load, compared to my previous Pre-Cal class. She workouts out the problems from the textbook in class. If you have any questions regarding the homework she will work them out. You turn your homework in when you take the test, which to me allows me to review my homework. I would take her again.

She has a bit of an accent so if you can't respect that, don't take her. She is genuinely the sweetest person, as long as you show her you're engaged, she will always help and be supportive of you as her student. The class is an "easy A" if you do All the work. Also she can make any difficult subject sound simple without being condescending

If you value your GPA, do not take her for calc. Says "email me with questions" but never replys. I've emailed her 6 times through the semester regarding webassign issues and math problems and never once got an email back. Webassign is absolute garbage. Be ready to learn from youtube. Never made less than an A until this class.

I enjoyed having Ms. Vintu as a teacher. First, after she puts down her belongings, she begins her daily lecture. If you are confused, she tries to help clarify. She also let us know that we could come to her for help during posted hours. This meant a lot because other professors tell you to go to a tutor. It shows she cares about your grade.

This is by far the worst example of teaching I have ever seen. The first day of this hybrid class she had us log into the MyMathLab and just told us to start working without any review. She then decides 20 minutes before class is over that she wanted to start teaching and rushed through everything. Never once when she actually teaches does she ask

Did not like her. She was very snarky with her responses, if she did reply. The class work was very time consuming but relevant. Would not suggest taking her if you are looking for any positive interactions, or are a first time online class taker.

Honestly the only time i heard personally from her was to be reminded to schedule exams. this class is totally individualized online. if you can't self teach i don't recommend taking it online.

Whatever you do, do not take her online. She uses webassign, which is the WORST online math class out there. It does not help you at ALL like mathlab. She Takes forever to responds to emails, does not help, and is overall useless online.

Vintu is okay. She let's you take tests whenever you are ready at the assessment center. She isn't the best teacher but she is nice enough. If you fail her class it's because you didn't do your work. If you aren't good in math I wouldn't take her. She also doesn't care if you type answers in wrong but have the correct work. That's kind of annoying

Great professor. Goes over any questions you may have. Lots of homework though. It helps that she is stunningly gorgeous. Highly recommend her.
