Kenny is a super cool dude. Made his own textbook so you don't have to buy one. Tests can be kind of difficult so I wouldn't recommend as a Gen Ed but if you're interested in economics at all he's great. Graded on problem sets once a week and three tests. Not super hard but definitely wouldn't say its an easy A at all

Kenny is a great teacher, very clear and easily understandable. Must read the textbook and don't really need the lectures if so. There are weekly quizzes but they're not hard if you keep up with the material. Tests were also straightforward, and all multiple choice. Lectures were recorded so you don't need to go to class.

Kenny is awesome. His lectures are very informative so make sure to pay attention in class. He knows a lot about the subject and really tries to help you understand it well. He also gives you plenty of study resources for tests which I appreciated a lot.

As long as you read the textbook you will be fine. There are not a lot of assignments for this class besides reading the textbook, doing a small weekly assignment, and studying for tests so it is very manageable. Professor Christianson makes the lectures very interesting and provides many real world examples.

Kenny is the GOAT. Some people didn't like his lecture style which I suppose is understandable, but in all honesty this might be the coolest guy I've ever met in my life and his class isn't that hard. Grade depends heavily on tests so don't mess the tests up, just read the textbook (which he wrote, and gives everyone free access to). Love this man

Kenny is a good guy and really likes his students and his material. Since his class is so large it's hard to build any real relationship. His lectures are somewhat non-engaging but overall easy to follow. He provides the textbook himself so you don't have to pay for it and you really don't need to read it either if you pay attention in class.

Kenny is a G and for people who are into economics I would recommend. However for people who just need the gen-ed requirement like I did, be careful. His zoom lectures weren't necessary, but if you don't pay attention you won't know whats on the test. Homework was easy but tests were difficult and were most of the grade

Kenny is the coolest boomer ever! I should have paid attention more but bc attendance was not mandatory, I didn't go each time. The problem sets were easy and my TA just gave us the answers. There were three noncumulative tests which i thought was fair. Overall, would recommend this class, not bad at all, and definitely take it with Kenny!

Easiest class I've taken, especially with covid. He posts his lectures, you don't have to show up to anything, there's review sessions for the weekly homework. 3 tests and homework decide your grade. Really the only worry are the tests.

This man writes his own textbook. There's a lot of extra information you do not need to read to pass or to understand. Lectures are usually miss. Sometimes people just drop their hw on Friday and leave. He always plays music at the beginning of class, which I loved. But, this man cannot teach. My TA was sort of helpful. Just not my style of learnin

He's a good professor who cares about his students. He only gives one assignment per week, which is a short set of MPC questions. His lectures can be hard to understand sometimes, but in response to that, I would suggest reading the chapters of the textbook before he teaches them during lectures.

Kenny is a great dude and was a pretty enjoyable class to go to. He started off each day with a fire song. Class was optional and it was online so that was great. His tests were fair and there were problem sets once a week but this class should be a pretty relaxing class especially for econ. Stingy on not rounding up a 92.8 to a 93 for the A though

He is super understanding about everything - whether it be a technical mistake made by myCourses or a problem you had while completing an assignment. He takes his time to explain his lectures and is a fair grader. He also dropped our lowest problem set grade and gave us a 100 in place of it. Great professor who really knows his material!

Kenny may be the sweetest guy on earth. He is a straightforward lecturer but takes the time to record all lectures and play music before he starts. His textbook is exactly how he speaks and is super easy to understand. Pay attention to graphs. Do the problem sets and prac tests for midterms/finals. Go to discussion and pay attention. Love Kenny sm

Kenny is such a good professor and I enjoyed his ECON350 class so much! He gives good feedbacks for you group papers and hw assignments. Took his 162 at my freshman year and hesitated to take his 350, but glad I made the choice, the class environment and participation are so much better in a smaller class. Also class prepares you for ECON450.
