He is a very entertaining professor but the class was difficult because of all the writing & exams. We also had to do a group project in which he didn't make the peer reviews anonymous enough to give your honest feedback it should have been done online. He praised students in your group when it was actually you & another member who did all the work

I liked this class a lot. The professor does a lot of group work and lecture. Be prepared to read the book though for the exams. His exams are by the book not lecture. Teaching style is realistic and relatable. I would take again

Great teacher, cares about students and how theyre doing. But how the class set up was confusing, you never knew where to turn things in (online/in person/both) there was no clear guidelines, assignments were scattered. Made keeping up a challenge, to much work a 2 unit. This class took up more time than my other 10 units put all together

You have to read the book and make sure you understand all italicized and bold terms in order to pass the exams. Know them word to word makes it way easier. He gives about7 essay questions before the exam for you to work on before the exam & I would always leave out 1 because He will choose 5 ?'s but only need to do 4 ?'s on the test.

He tends to have a lot of class interaction and group work. Attendance is mandatory or points will be deducted. If you focus on knowing key terms and ideas, the exams are easy. Projects are a little more involved-ask a lot of questions. Professor is really helpful. I really enjoyed the class.

I didnt like this professor at all,he is very confusing when asking questions. I also noticed that when class ends he immediately leaves the class room not to be bothered by students questions. His exams are hard and tricky,he gives you hard test questions on purpose so everyone does the presentation because his presenttion counts as extra credit.

Dr. Omen is a very knowledgeable and friendly teacher. However, his teaching style is better for audio learners. He doesn't use any power points or handouts instead he speaks to the class and have related activities. We had two exams, one final, and 7-8 page paper.

Good professor! He is passionate about what he is teaching. he is very funny, most of the classes are group activities etc not too much lecturing. You will do well on the tests if you study the key terms in the book, and he gives all the possible essay questions the week before so you can prepare for them, take this class!

Professor Omens was very good, had a lot of real-world experience and was very engaged and enthusiastic, made me more interested in the subject. Exams are entirely from the text, very important to read the chapters on schedule and take your own book notes as you read each chapter. Understand the key term definitions & the learning objectives.
