She made a 6wk, 3-4 hour night class a pleasure. I love that we had daily discussions and free writes. We watched films about society, responses and finally a presentation assigned by chapter to review book material together as a class. She keeps updated with everyone and really helps you you do your best. Just perform well, you'll likely get an A!

I am currently in her sociology class and she is amazing. She engages with her student and has an interest in each of them. I look forward to her class very week. She gives a mid-term and final, super easy. Every week we write a response to what we have read in our textbooks and a student presents a chapter each week. Show up, participate, easy A!

I personally loved all the classes I've taken with her so far. She expects a lot from her students, but I think you get so much from her classes. She knows her stuff and teaches form personal example. Davis is opinionated, but respectful of the opinions of others. Her sense of humor is also pretty rockin'.

Reading some of these reviews make me think she wrote them. I just took her online class. It was not bad, but not great. I felt like there was no learning involved. You read a bunch and wrote even more.it was a writing class though. I felt like she was not clear at all and grades you paper based on whether or not she likes your style of writing.

She's a nice person but chooses favorites and is extremely liberal. She will shove her views down your throat. Plus we didn't learn anything and there was a lt of reading with one page papers for each. On the plus side, the final should be fairly easy.

The material used is very interesting.i If you are willing to put forth an extra effort and complete all work on time you will get an A.The class is taught in a manner which requires all to participate but is very benefical in the long run.She is open to hear all opinions, but will make you truely think about what you are saying. Its worth taking

This class turned out to be great. We talked about current issues and watched a ton of interesting movies. There is a good amount of writing involved but it's easy to get good grades. If you take things too personally i suggest not taking the class. She makes you think critically about controversial subjects. I would recommend her to anyone.

DO NOT take class if you have any love for your country. She does not have an open mind to anyone elses opinion besides hers. If you are a radical liberal you will probably enjoy her but if you want to learn about sociology, take it with a different professor. She hated me because I didn't believe the government blew up the trade centers...

Her soc. class was not what I expected at all. I really respect the fact that she was more concerned with us actually learning something rather than spitting back information. On the other hand she had rigid beliefs (to say the least). If you don't have an open mind or at the very least can tolerate others opinions this class is not for you.

Well on the plus side, grades are very easy. You just watch a few movies, read a little and write about it. However, if you are conservative, this class is not for you.(learned that the hard way myself) Alot of leftist views with no seeing the other side. So if you can deal with that, go for it.

i have taken all three of her classes...she is nice to the students, gives fair grades, but you have to do a lot of writing, she likes it if you particpate and you have to go to class, she tells good stories, you can get an A but you have to do the work, all three classes were fun and intersting, good and fun classes

Darwin is a great teacher and certainly knows the information she is teaching, and will do her very best to help you learn. The class is very easy as long as you do your work. You keep a simple journal for the readings you do, and have a couple papers. If you do not have an open mind or do not support equality you should not take her class though.

There should def. be more professors like Darwin. yes,she is very open about her beliefs and thoughts. But what i found to be abrasive and annoying at first ended up being very important to me. I didnt change any of my ideas because of her class, but it really makes you re-evaluate what your thoughts and values are and where they come from. Easy A.

I didn't learn anything from her class, she never really taught us anything she just made us read articals out of the text and keep a journal. You also couldn't have your own opinion when it came to the artical discusions. It was a very pointless class.
