Very frustrating class. She is not very clear of what she expects from you because she expects you to understand it. Tests are very long and detailed. She is a tough grader and is hard to please. I really did not like taking it. Do Not Recommend!

She is very rude if you ask questions and does not make herself approachable at all. She's a tough grader, but very knowledgeable about the class! also makes lectures hard to understand and they are very unorganized. don't take this class unless you absolutely have to.

Do not take this Professor! She calls herself an Enviro Psychologist but has taken absolutely no regard in her students during this pandemic. Shes extremely hard to reach as she doesnt believe in technology use. Her lectures are extremely energy draining. Unless you want to leave lecture hating your existence, dont take Raupp.

16 hours of community service required for this class. She takes away points if you come in to class late and then turn in your paper. Sit in on the lectures, take notes, and you'll be fine. She grades your paper and gives it back months later. Pretend you like cats and she'll like you. Very thought provoking class.

I took her environmental psych class and I would not recommend it to anyone. She shows a clear passion for the subject but she does not make it easily digestible for her students. She is super tough on grading. All of your papers better clearly indicate that you take ownership of the effects you have on the environment. Her lecture does not help.

Dr Raupp is by far, one of the sweetest and compassionate professors Ive met in the psychology department at CSUB. She does expect a lot from her students, but I think its for the best! Dr Raupp is active w/her teaching skills, so yes you have to take notes (no PowerPoint). Plus lots of group participation/class discussions, very interesting.

DO NOT TAKE THIS PROFESSOR! I personally disliked her teaching style and learned nothing from her. We had two research papers for her class and we still had 4 exams and a 15 hour community service for our project. Also, she does not use power points or blackboard so be ready to take as many notes and read.

Dr. Raupp is very knowledgeable in her field. Her exams are tough but if you show up to class, take notes and understand the material you'll do fine. Standard 2 exams, one project and 3 one page papers on documentaries you chose to watch. She is very serious, but she is a good professor.

Does not use blackboard therefore no lecture notes go up, you have to be present in class to write them down. Her grading criteria depends on how you respond to the topic, if you use we instead of I shell dock points. If you ask her questions she is quite rude when she responds, but she is willing to elaborate more on concepts if you ask.

first time she taught this class. You can get the book from the library but you wont really need it. 2 big assign, personal change project 8+ paper/data chart and making connections 3+ paper. Do good on those and you'll be fine. She gives clear directions for both. Creates study guides for quizzes and take notes from the board. Final easy big quiz

This teacher is horrible. She personally attacked me on one of my assignments and then falsely accused me of completely plagiarizing another assignment. She is very standoffish and seems to think that she is better than everyone else. The whole class is based off of her opinion and if you disagree with her, she will make an example of you.

She was pretty rude the first couple weeks and I had a very terrible experience with her at her office hours but after I got over it she honestly wasn't that bad and is pretty knowledgeable about a lot of things. She tries to crack jokes and they never land so if nothing else, you can laugh at that

Absolutely terrible, uses the class as her own personal soap box and recruiting platform for green initiative. Watched over 8 hours of nature/conservation documentaries. Psychology was just an afterthought. Her testing style is atrocious, tells you only number of errors, not which ones or why. Good luck learning anything from that.

This professor doesn't like late people. I showed up to class late a few quarters ago and she docked about 20% off of my homework. I was only 10 minutes late due to traffic. Completely ridiculous and unfair.

She is very passionate about environmental psychology. Lectures are long and so are the exams. Very little homework but there are a few writing assignments. There's a behavioral change project which a lot of students don't like but if you start it well before it is due then you should be ok. She is a tough grader when it comes to writing.

Dr. Raupp is passionate about the subject of environmental psych but be prepared to agree with her in your assignments otherwise you'll probably make a C or less. Her expectations are a bit blurry, tests are informative it's everything in her board notes , so go to class! The final project does not have direct guidelines so be prepared for that

She lost my final. Docked a grade because she didn't remember approving a topic. Which I had to prove that she signed off on it. She's a mess. Her class was fun but she doesn't grade accurately. Docs points for the smallest things and a large amount. Enough to fail you because you misspelled a work or didn't have a comma.
