The test are hard and most of it is not based on lecture but you can use logic sense and material from class to answer them easily. Topics and articles covered in class are actually interesting and applicable to life. As long as you take detailed notes and attend class then you are bound to get at least a B

It's week 4 and the whole class still doesnt know whats going on. Constantly makes excuses for his mistakes, not cut out to teach. He doesnt lecture, just talks and its hard to follow along! Gets upset if someone corrects him, condescending

A lot of students don't prefer his style of teaching, but I for one am school challenged (B/C avg), but I am doing very well in his senior seminar. Despite what other students say about him, I for one say to give him a chance! He means so well, and is very passionate about everything he does, and once you get to know him you'll see that as well.

Dr. Vega doesn't require attendance, but if you don't show up you'll have a tough time w/ quizzes. He basically gives you the answers in class the day before. He grades on a curve, so my B+ went to an A. I had a rough time this semester due to personal issues &he was so understanding/ let pp turn in things late. I would've failed w/ any other prof.

Honestly one of the hardest professors I have taken at CSUB. His grading is the most confusing and his tests have nothing to do with the book. He literally comes up with his own questions and even if you have the book it doesnt help.I did not miss one day of class and I am a straight A student and received a C in his class. Do not recommend him!

Vega is by far, the most difficult professor I've ever taken in my four years of attending CSUB. The work load is ridiculous and his lectures do not help at all. His wording in exams and such as to his own knowledge, and expects you to know what he's thinking in order for the answer to be correct. He is definitely a professor I would not recommend

This professor actually expects his students to have a good understanding of research methods. If you dont, itll be difficult to get a good grade in the course. He curved are class by 9% and I was able to get an A. Hes really helpful and nice. I would take him again.

As many have said, Dr. Vega is a great guy, but he is the most unorganized professor I have taken, junior college included. His lecture notes are a mess, direction and instruction are unclear, and his quizzes/tests are no better. Be prepared for up to a grade drop, and know it isn't your fault. Show up, ask q's, do your best .

He gives 3 essays the whole semester. He is not clear with what he wants you to write about. He will tell you to input data into your essay, and when you do, he crosses it all out. Expect to use the full APA format on his essays. I can never understand what he is teaching when he lectures, he leaves the whole class confused.

Research Method 2 *sigh* Vega is a good person yes but his whole lectures and EVERYTHING is so disorganized. Grades were never inputted on time. He does take role and we have assignments in the workbook, easy grade. when it comes to essays, man he leaves you lost. The tests literally had nothing to do with his lectures. Needs 2 get it together.

Ever met a professor who was just not cut out for teaching? This is Vega. He is a very nice man, however his lack of organization drives me and the whole class insane. His lectures are all over the place and his exams are pretty difficult. Powerpoints? Forget about it, he handwrites everything (illegibly) and leaves the entire class confused.

I'll be honest Vega is a very nice guy, and he tries to be helpful. However, he is very unorganized. His teaching style is all over the place. His test focuses on the the textbooks, but he does not teach what is in the book. He gives WAY to much HW!!! His test are hard than they need to be, and I would not suggest anyone take his class.

Dr. Vega is a very nice person. However he should not be teaching. His lectures seem to lack structure and are so bad that I no longer even try following. He is well known for putting trick questions in his homework assignments and tests. I am a good student. I have gotten A's and B's in all of my upper division psych courses. I do NOT recommend.

Vega is a nice person if he likes you. Once you get on his bad side, he will be condescending and be subjective when grading your assignments. He is knowledgeable in this subject, but has a difficult time articulating the material. He states that certain material will not be on the test, but it will most likely be on the test.

Although Vega seems like a kind person, his accent is very difficult to understand and he jumps from point to point often. He is disorganized and following along with him during lecture is near impossible. His tests are ridiculously hard and no amount of studying could have prepared me for them. Do yourself a favor and choose another teacher.
