I still remember his lecture examples from taking this course 10 years ago. I use some of them today with my students. Dr. Harris encourages the kind of learning that enables students to recognize concepts in the "real" world.

I had looked forward to the uniqueness of Environmental Psych. But it quickly became frustrating with many different versions of requirements for an evaluation paper and presentation. He's very willing to help, but the clarity of requirements is too vague. I was left feeling badly about my initial decision and grade received for this course.

He's a really cool person, and what a breath of fresh air compared to Stats 1, but his tests kicked my ass. The textbook isn't as important as his powerpoints (which are on blackboard) and his study guides. Always go to him for help and he'll sit with you for as long as it takes you to go over it. Make sure you get a good tutor at TJ's.

Social Psych: Great instructor! Dr. Harris writes his own tests (no test bank here) but everything you need to know is in the book/notes. He makes class very interesting! (I took this during the Maymester. It would have been a nightmare to spend three weeks, 4 hours a day with a bad instructor. He made it enjoyable!) Take his class!

Dr. Harris is a funny guy who can get pretty easily distracted. Stats 2 was insanely easy....too easy. We didn't learn anything because he was too busy catering to the dumb people in the class.

Harris is a great guy and a good teacher. His tests are easy provided you take notes during class and use them to study. He's a rather easy grader on projects and papers, and is more than willing to help explain any thing. But since he makes everything so clear to begin with, you wont even need his help on anything.

well its an easy class if you pay attention and listen or read the handouts. If you dont do either you're screwed. I found his class kind of boring so i would drift off a lot and He doesnt make classes mandatory so i didnt go a lot. i just read the handouts and i did fine.

Social Psych. Great professor for the material. Engages you pretty well. The group presentations rather suck at times, but this class is easy if you study the material.
