Comment:
When explaining his lecture videos, he goes off-topic, so it makes it hard for me to understand. Therefore, I'm sure it throws students off from comprehending and understand the topic. His quizzes are sometimes based on lectures and textbooks, he'll throw in some questions that are not related to the subject.

While he is passionate, Dr. Keele's lectures often run late. Participation points only count if you answer clicker questions correctly. Anxiety students BEWARE: Keel will stare you down during tests. The midterm/final are VERY stressful as they make up most of your grade. I received an "A," but at the expense of my mental health.

Keele has been by far the worst professor I have ever taken. He doesnt care about his students. Everyone in the class can be failing and he doesnt think he has anything to do with the way he teaches. He expects too much from his students. I HIGHLY suggest for no one to take his classes.

Jeffrey Keele is the worst Professor I have had at Porterville College. He has anger issues and has multiple outbursts a day. He disagrees with every student who doesnt see the same political view as him. Jeffrey Keele is a Professor I would not recommend to anyone

Very difficult class. Time goes by slow, lectures are boring pushes his political view sees it as the only view. Dont even attempt talking in his class gets easily annoyed. Attendance is mandatory to pass. Class is taught at a difficult level, get ready to leave class confused, Vocabulary terms are important.

You definitely need to go to class to pass. There quizzes almost every lecture so it is extremely helpful to READ THE TEXTS. Other than that the only homework you get is reading his teaching isn't bad he's super funny and keeps you engaged with his funny life stories. If you're not ready to put in the work don't take his class if you are have fun

Study guide for Midterm & Final have a lot of terms, a clicker is needed & there's 1 big essay. As long as you know the vocab words and show up to lecture you should be fine. Lectures are long and he sometimes goes off topic, so be prepared. This class isn't as hard as people make it seem, you just need to put effort into it to do good.

If you miss class you won't pass, participation and pop quizzes are daily, with using the iclicker, if you are a minute late you won't get a participation point. You must read the chapters and pay attention to lecture. Do the extra credit! Vocabulary knowledge is very important

While i am biased, i took every one of his classes, i would say that he is one of the best teachers at PC. IMO he is overqualified for his position because he has a doctorate from Berkeley; So he is VERY knowledgeable about the subjects he teaches. I recommend him even though he is not an easy teacher.

He's a great teacher as long as you focus and pay attention. He can move a little fast at times but the powerpoints cover everything pretty well. His tests are rather difficult, however, you are allowed a 1 sided notecard cheatsheet and he does provide the essay questions a week prior to the test. Overall he makes the class interesting and fun.

Dr. Keele is a great teacher with honest grading practices. Although he goes through the lectures pretty quick he explains everything pretty thorough. Took his polisci class first then took this one cause I really enjoyed how he teaches.

I actually took both Econ 101 and 102 with him. He is a really great professor and guy outside of the classroom. I enjoyed his lecture style though most hate it but he does prepare you for the professors that await you when you transfer. Pretty easy class overall; don't be afraid to ask him for a recommendation letter. he'll write an awesome one.
