One of the sweetest and most caring professors out there. He was my flute teacher for 4 years before I even came to SEMO, and I noticed absolutely no difference in his style of teaching in different classes. He will work with you on every deadline you need. Such a kind-hearted man.

PT is an amazing professor, his lectures are entertaining and hilarious. He's a quirky guy but is really in to his lectures. His class is a cakewalk, literally just complete the assignments and show up to class (he grades on attendance) and you will pass with an A.

PT is so great, he's hilarious! Sometimes his lectures are a little long, but he's so interested in the material it helps you get excited about it too. His assignments are easy and quick, and there are only 2 tests; a midterm and a final. Show up, take notes, and you'll be fine!

Professor Thompson managed to make an 8 am class about Winston Churchill, my favorite course of the entire semester. He is unbelievably entertaining, witty, and kind. He never fails to keep the class exciting. He is British so not only is his voice fun to hear, but he has a lot of experience and understanding with what he is teaching about.

This class was so great. I took the life and times of Winston Churchill, and while sometimes the lectures were a little long, he is so interested in the topic and it really shows. The only tests were the midterm and final, and any HW was pretty quick and he gives plenty of time to do it. He's also hilarious and really understanding.

The Life and Times of Winston Churchill was my favorite class so far. Mr. Thompson really cares about his students and is passionate about what he teaches. He's a bit like watching a children's television show, with a series of phrases he uses every day, and interesting stories and activities for the class to take part in. 10/10 would recommend.

Great professor, very engaging, funny, and intelligent. He made us get up and dance in class a few times (the life and times of winston churchill). I definitely recommend taking him at least once (i took him twice in one semester, it was fantastic)

I loved Mr. Thompson! I took his Modernism course and I really enjoyed it. He's really funny and makes the subject interesting. If anything it can be a little boring, but I'm not personally interested in music or art so it depends on the person. Wouldn't worry about homework or tests-both are easy As. Loved him!

The Shock if the New He's hilarious and energetic, even at 8 o'clock in the morning. His homework is super easy and even fun, and he gives great study guides for his test which make those easy, too. Also, his English accent makes you not tire of his voice by the end of the semester. 10/10 would recommend.

Overall, an awesome professor! He makes his classes fun even if the topic isn't super exciting. He is passionate about what he teaches and wants his students to succeed. PT is understanding professor, so don't hesitate if you have a question. His homework is easy and he gives you a study guide for the tests with the exact questions that are on it.

PT is an awesome teacher! You should definitely take him if you have the chance. The classes that I took with him were just courses required for university studies, but he made them really fun. He has a lot of energy, which makes it fun to go to class even if it is at 8 AM. I took him for MU190H and UI100H and both were fun and interesting.

Mr. Thompson is truly an inspiring teacher. I had his class at 3:30 in the afternoon, but his energy made me want to go! He made the material more interesting than I ever thought it could be! The class was not hard at all, but (I know it sounds cheesy) I am pretty sure it is because he made the learning fun!

I loved PT. Britain and the Brits was so easy all you need to do is show up to get an A. You do have to show up since he takes attendance every day. This is a class that you will want to get up for, though. He is so engaging and relates so well to his students. My favorite class so far at SEMO.

This class is a very easy pass as long as you show up. YOU ARE GRADED ON ATTENDANCE. There are zero tests the entire semester- no final! He gives several homework assignments throughout the semester that are worth a large chunk of points, but gives plenty of time to complete them. He is a very easy grader and an overall fun guy. Take him!

PT was such a good instructor. The exams were pretty hard, but he gives very thorough study guides. Each class is 10pts of participation grade, so make sure you don't skip too many because it WILL make you fail. He was always quick to email back and a great professor.
