Comment:
Mulligan is the sweetest old man ever. He explains core concepts decently well, but the last third of the course is just a mess. Always tries to help, but doesn't give enough example problems. The only math needed is taking a derivative. Luckily tests are just reworded homework. Game theory can be hard, but the class is curved hard too.

Game theory is not fun, but the prof realized most people don't really get it. Exam questions are very similar to HW. Only 2 exams and 4 HW for semester. Gave a very good curve, bigger for midterm then final. If you did badly on midterm, you can answer more questions on final and have final count as more of your grade if it helps. Really nice prof

Professor Mulligan is a graceful teacher and extremely helpful person. Granted, this course is incredibly difficult especially if you do not have a strong math background. If calculus is not your forte, you have your work cut out for you. That being said, it is manageable with Mulligan's assistance. Go to office hours, put in hours, and you'll pass

Professor Mulligan is a very caring and nice person. Approachable and takes time to explain concepts. Doesn't explain how to do HW's, which was slightly frustrating. Exams require you to put concepts together instead of regurgitate information. Has a sense of humor. Just a really cool guy.

He is one of the nicest professors I've ever had. This course is challenging, but that's not his fault. He has a huge curve so it is easy to pull off at least a B, but you definitely have to work for it. I would definitely recommend Mulligan for this course if you have to take it.

Professor Mulligan is a very good teacher and has a tremendous amount of knowledge about economics. The class is heavily curved so if you study your class notes and the textbook you should be able to pull off an A.

Such a nice and sweet old man. Really has a love for what he teaches and is very understanding of students. His notes are sometimes confusing/lacking so reading the textbook will help clarify them. 2 tests, 5 problem sets (hw), and a final. Curves all grades based on how well the class does overall so easy to get a B or A. Definitely recommend!

If you're an engineering major you should be able to clean up in this class. The ECON majors seemed to have trouble with the more quantitative nature of this course.

Professor Mulligan is the man. The class was not easy, but there's no better professor to learn from. He is extremely smart, nice, and caring/helpful. The tests can be difficult, but he gives you study guides before every test and the final. Take good notes and study the problem sets and the e-mail Q's he sends out and you will do well.

Mulligan is a rare breed. For a big univ. he is one of the most caring, helpful professors I've ever met or heard of. Material is hard but he will help you everyday if necessary. Very nice, very smart! Extremely helpful and welcoming demeanor, great for people not as "economically" minded as me. Major props and respect for him. Great guy.

This class should be a grad course it is so over my head. Mulligan is a great guy with a friendly attitude, but I struggle to stay awake in class and pass the exams. Someone else teaches ECON300 who is apparently WAY easier than Mulligan, so I recommend to avoid him if you are taking ECON300 to fulfill a requirement because its insanely hard.

YAWWWNNN...mmmmm?! what happened? Finally recess. Got an easy A in this class, but not thanks to the teacher. I just have a HUGE MEMORY...and that's what you need in this class. Nothing more. If you're actually interested in learning something differently than by HEART, well er...to drop this class is my only advice!

Mulligan is the smartest man in the department! He is always available and will help you in any way he can. This class was not easy. However his lectures were based on the text so it wasn't hard to catch up. Just don't miss a class. HWs were very tough. Gives a great test outline for each test.

Just don't forget to have a nice warm and VERY STRONG coffee before class 'cause you may fall asleep. Well, even if you do, you'll have the textbook to get what you missed. If you have a high memory capacity, you'll pass this class easily.

Hard class, but he does a good job teaching the material. Gives online questions to practice, covers them in class. The these questions are the basis for the 3 homework assignments that are the basis for the 3 tests; so take good notes and do your homework homework! Very approachable, always available for his students, and an overall nice guy.
