So many papers, doesnt provide good feedback that will help you with the next ones. Tests are impossible, no study guide, 75 questions! His lectures were about 5 minutes long so be prepared to teach yourself the material. Very bad at explaining and giving directions so it made the papers very difficult to write.

He seems like a good person, but he really can't teach online. I heard he is better in person, so avoid online. He does not explain assignments and his grading is not well explained. You will read your textbook and teach yourself this course. No study guides. Tests are 60% of grade, browser lockdown, 75 questions in 1.15 hours with no back tracking

He is not very communicative. His hw is not too bad but the exams is 60% OF YOUR GRADE! his exams arent even discussed during meetings and its ridiculous for a research class and your papers are only 10% of your grade. good luck passing the class lol

I took him for research methods. Worst decision ever. No backtracking on tests, 50 questions, 55 minutes. Lockdown browser required. Had 4 people read over one paper of mine, still gave me a C. All I remember from his zoom classes were im putting you into breakout groups and him pouring a cup of coffee. Does not provide good feedback. DONT TAKE.

This professor did not communicate. There were only 3 or 4 messages from him through the semester. His grading was difficult as well. You must go beyond the rubric on projects in order to receive an A even if you meet the page requirement. Directions are also vague. Tests and other assignments were not too hard though. Take in-person not online.

He seems like a nice guy but his feedback is really confusing. I never really understood what I did wrong or right. The class schedule is also really bad. Homework for ch13 will be due the same week you take the test on ch5-10. I hear he's much better in person so try not to take his online classes.

Doesnt respond to emails asking for help. exams are 55 mins w/ 50 questions. doesnt cover the material in the exams. I wrote 16 pages of notes for exam 2, studied for 10+ hours (bc of poor grade on exam 1) & for exam 2 I got a 37%. almost never gives out As for assignments/D.B.s. Makes me feel very stupid. Good luck.

He doesn't teach you anything. You read from the book, then make 3 discussions about whatever he wants and do 3 projects, that I see as dumb, and that's it. He doesn't interact with his students whatsoever. No help. His tests are on that dumb video recording lock down site. So you best study--with which there is no study guide; all in all, goodluck

Dr. Conner is unfortunately the reason I have begun to loathe my major. In person, hes not too bad of a professor, but online is a different story. You need to learn everything yourself and his syllabus is as vague as possible, and when you contact him, you get a mediocre response at best. His classes have a special way of making you feel stupid.

I took his intro to stats and social psych class. He has you spend hundreds of dollars on class materials instead of teaching. I have taught myself every chapter of both classes. He often doesn't respond to my emails when I am looking for help... which I need... because im teaching myself!!!!! The material isn't too hard, but still! So annoying!!!

Prof Connor gives you everything that you need to do well in this class, but it is a ton of work. I spent about 15 hrs/week on the 7 week course. His videos are super helpful as are the practice tests--neither are mandatory. He responds to emails quickly. Tests are timed and you will have 0 minutes left to go back and check answers or ponder.

Worst psych class I've ever taken. Dr. Conner lectures the entire class about topics that do not even appear on the tests. Studying was so hard because he gives no study guides. You're supposed to go off his powerpoints, which still don't have all the material. Assigns soo many long papers. Picky and tough grader. Gives no feedback. Difficult.

Dr. Conner is probably the smartest person I have met. His classes aren't easy. If you don't love psych THAT much, you'll struggle. If you are unmotivated, you'll struggle and hate the class. He's intimidating, but he really does want you to succeed. I've never learned so much about myself and the world around me from just one class. I loved it.

For a lower level psych course, this was an extremely heavy workload. 'Homework quizzes' are hard, some answers to the questions completely contradict what's in the text. Exams are even worse. You literally get 1 min per question, & once you submit an answer, it can't be changed. Take a different prof if you take other classes & work full-time.

Lazy Professor. He teaches an online class, and won't give you any notice whenever a test becomes available. You are supposed to have every test date memorized from your syllabus. Seems like he doesn't care about his students.

Overall Professor Conner was an amazing teacher. He does such a good job relating the material of class to the lives of college students so you can best understand it. He does not assign a lot of homework, just papers and tests. However, the tests are very easy and the papers are simple. I would highly recommend him to all students.

Frank Conner was a terrible teacher. When I asked him for help he acted like I was bothering him and I never got any help at all! I explained to him from the beginning of the class that I would need a little extra helped and he just watched me drown basically. Don't take him if you know you're going to need a professor to actually help you.

Frank really know his material & is genuinely intelligent but the way he teaches this class & the way his tests are set up, are ridiculous. The tests arent based off anything that he puts into his power points. There are lots of papers & it's almost as if he refuses to give out good grades for them. This class was very frustrating to say the least

I loved this class! The videos were a great help when I was struggling to grasp a particular concept. The discussion boards gave me the opportunity to learn from other students as well. The practice tests were so helpful in preparing for the exams. Make sure you study because there is no extra time during tests to look things up!

This was the worst class I have ever taken. Dr Frank Conner is the head of the department, makes it hard to get any real feedback. When working with his rubrics for papers, you will still fail. You have no idea what he will be testing on. He gives no study guides for any of the test. Long papers. Impossible to take notes. No feedback Difficult!
