Happy I had her for my first Art History courses. She made the class interesting and made sure the class understood the topics covered. The projects assigned were also interesting and were helpful in understanding the topics. Definitely recommend taking this class even as a GLED!

Anne is hands down my favourite prof at the university. She is hilarious and very passionate about the material. She is very approachable and kind and I strongly recommend any of her classes, especially to first-year students. Not an easy A, you definitely need to study but the material overall is not difficult or too much work outside of class.

this course wasn't a straight chronology but at the end i felt like i learned more than usual but it also seemed easier - There were lots of group activities and they helped , you were allowed to talk about the test answers in class which was weird but good. Bonus she really cares about you and is understanding. And funny/not boring

Amazing Prof, She is passionate about her work and inspires it in her students, Class was very interesting and a lot of fun. Pay attention and take good notes during lectures and you are set. She posts the artworks to moodle but no info on slides so go to class!

I took Art History with her and it was amazing. She's hilarious, and her lectures tell you everything you need to know as well as context so it makes sense. She teaches the general understanding of art pieces but also will give you her own opinions, which I always find interesting. Very understanding and personal. Never ridicules a wrong answer.

I absolutely adored Anne, but this class was tough and very workload-heavy. I guess that's to be expected in a 3000-level class, though. I really enjoyed this class and the art that we covered so I was really interested in the class. There's a little bit of group work involved with the assigned readings and discussion in groups, but it's doable.

She starts out nervous, but will eventually start swearing by accident, and making inappropriate jokes (Mostly to help students remember things). She's funny and lighthearted about most things, but if you plagiarize, she will go out of her way to have you permanently removed from the University. "Don't do it; footnote it!"

I enjoyed this class with Anne. She was very silly and made the material interesting to learn. For her exams you really need to know the stylistic periods inside and out in order to be able to identify other works not shown in class. She posts her slides online but only the pictures, so attending class is mandatory to get the notes.

Anne was knowledgable, and helpful. Course was created by combining 2 courses and her lectures seemed to be all over the place. 2 Essay assignments were challenging. She gets an F grade for returning marked essays and exams on time! Reviewed how to create an essay, which was a bit overkill. Overall good teacher!

Extremely knowledgable, but also extremely unorganized. She jumps all over her slide presentation, and speaks as she thinks, making it very difficult to take notes!

I really liked her as a prof. She talked really fast but she also made things interesting. You can't skip class if you want a good grade, there is a lot of material covered in one class period. She's energetic and funny and I really liked having her as a prof.

Anne loves to challenge students to think critically and to always judge our history on whether it's a fact or a lie. She is determined to make each of her students learn the material by testing us in class. Her marking is fair when it comes to essays and tests. Anne is a great prof, she is also funny and professional at the same time.
