Professor Meyer is a conceited dim-wit, who has nothing to offer to the world and is unbearably sour because of it. I would highly recommend doing everything in your power to avoid having him as an instructor.

I've taken two classes with Professor Meyer. He's by far one of the worst professors Ive ever had. He's extremely biased and is very stuck and is not very approachable. He will cause a scene if he sees your phone out, even if you're not using it. Overall, the guy may be knowledgable about International Relations & history but, overall he's a loser.

He's a good professor. Must attend lectures to get the information required for the exams in addition to watching the in-class films. 2 exams and a 12-page paper. Two interesting and short novels to read, and 1 textbook that you'll need to read to well on the multiple choice portion of exams.

The only grades are two tests and a 10-12 page paper. I really enjoyed the class, put in the work and you can receive a decent grade.

Professor Meyer is a really great teacher. He's passionate about human rights and his work and has a lot of knowledge. The exams are based off of in class notes and the readings and he gives you a study guide before each test. There's also a final paper. Willing to work with you and laid back.

The class was mainly lectures, with group presentations spread throughout the first few weeks and a Human Rights Council simulation at the end, with two 7-10 page papers and two tests (rather than a midterm and cumulative final).

The guy is totally opinionated, unfair, and looks at you like you are unworthy to be in his presence. Went to him for help frequently and I didn't get much out of it. 2 tests, 2 papers, and participation. After the first 40%, i was only at a C and he told me that was pretty much my grade for the semester. Meyer respelled is MISTAKE. Don't take him!

This class was fairly easy. Go to lecture and pay attention and read the text book and you should do fine on the test. He has a really good grading scale that makes it easy to get an A. His multiple choice questions are aggravatingly hard but its no reason not to take the class. 4 tests no final and no other assignments.

Meyer is a paradox- he's a good professor, very clear, his lectures are easy to take notes on, he reemphasizes the book with his lectures, and he's incredibly helpful. BUT his tests are unfairly hard. Brutal multiple choice questions and he's incredibly picky on his essays. I'm a straight A poli sci student and I had a lot of trouble in this class

Had him for POSC 446 and I implore you to get him as your professor. He knows what he is talking about and you can clearly see that he loves to teach. Class is made up of a midterm, final, and a 10pg paper. I loved going to class and learned so much because of him

I took Meyer for both POSC 445 and 446. He is an expert on Human Rights but never comes off pretentious. Really nice guy. Class consists of a 10 page paper and a midterm and final. You must do the readings to do well on the MC questions. The films are very interesting as well. Take Professor Meyer, you won't regret it!

Professor Meyer is the man. Best professor I've had at UD. The class consists of a midterm and final, not cumulative. MC questions are based solely on the readings. You must buy the books and read to do well on the exams. The essay questions are directly from his lectures. There is a group project/presentation and a UN simulation at the end of the semester. Meyer is very fair and very engaging. I enjoyed going to class to hear his lectures. TAKE HIM! GO IOWA!

Very easy class load. Only 2 exams and one paper. But if you miss class he would grade you down half a letter grade. The movies are really good and its an interesting class that I recommend to take even if you are not a political science major

There isnt that much course work in the class, 2 Exams and 2 papers + a presentation and class participation. But his exams are really hard. If you do not read the texts you will be clueless on the multiple choice part and his essay questions are impossible to fully answer in 50 min. But overall it is an interesting class and he is really helpful.

if you don't do the reading, you will literally get NO points on his multiple choice portion of the test- keep up with it. and the essays questions aren't unreasonable but trying to do 2 of them in 50 minutes is near impossible. i really like him and the class but the time allotted for the test is crazy.

He's an international human rights expert. He also shows a lot of movies. he's not easy, but he's not hard. You have to keep up with the readings in order to get an A. Most important to the tests though are the lectures which he will footstomp important points for students to know.

Class was very easy! Two exams and one research paper (10-15 pages, and you choose the topic). Exams come straight from class notes and the book, so make sure you read it. He loves the little details and will take off points if you don't have them. Best professor ever, I took him for POSC313 too and I hope to take him again!

Pretty decent prof. Lectures were interesting and exams were not too difficult. Four essay exams. I studied a moderate amount and mostly did the readings and got an A. The only issue i had was that the exams were too long for a 50 min class. I was always rushing. All in all I would take him again.
