Trent is one of the best professors I have had. He is hilarious and makes a ton of Purdue jokes. For lecture and lab you get a good amount of skips but his lectures are great and worth going to. He is also one of the nicest professors I have met and seems to really care about his students learning. Take a class with him if you get the chance!

Dr. Applegate is a very funny guy, and a semi-good teacher. I wish he posted his lectures online because that would be extremely helpful. He frequently gets distracted and his tone of voice is hard to understand sometimes. As long as you study his lectures, the tests should be easy. But, make sure you take notes because he does not post lectures!

I did not like his lectures at all. So boring. He's a nice guy though, very funny, but I swear it was like I was back in sixth grade and he talked SO SLOWLY. I made the mistake of getting overconfident though - study well for the tests! They can surprise you.

Dr. Applegate is a stickler for attendance but he's so funny he makes each lecture interesting. His First Aid class is a must take, it's very useful and if you pay attention you'll do well. Beware of the second test- the first test will be an easy A without even studying but the second requires studying, don't get caught thinking it will be as easy

This course is worth your time and money. Not only is it a useful and important skill set learned, even if you're not majoring in anything related to it. Applegate is always excited to teach and is very experienced and knowledgeable in the field. You have three skills tests and three exams total. Practice and study what you're told and you'll pass.

Trent is a great professor. He was very accessible outside of class and gave great tips for the test. Review sessions tell you what to study. Need the text books and packets. First aid is a great skill to have for anyone and this is a great way to learn it!

Very nice guy. Genuinely cares about the subject matter and teaches it in a fun way. Go to class and take good notes since the tests aren't easy if you don't prepare for them. Lectures and labs almost always end early and there are lots of days the class won't meet. Would recommend this class even if it isn't required for your major

This guy is a former Athletic Trainer. He's been through a lot and really knows his stuff. He always cracks cheesey purdue jokes. If you come to lecture and take notes over important things or his "hint hint nudge nudge" you will get an A on the test. The lab section is just as easy if not easier. Just know "staying Alive" and youre good.

Professor Applegate is genuinely the nicest teacher I've ever had. The attendance rule is annoying, but it's worth it because he makes so many jokes. Only thing I would suggest is not to underestimate the tests, its a super easy class if you look over the notes a few times before the tests, but if you don't the tests could be hard.

Trent is by far the nicest teacher I have had in my entire life. He is inspiring and makes you actually WANT to come to class each day. I'm genuinely sad the class is over :(

His class is pretty straightforward and by no means difficult. He makes lectures interesting by using humorous examples or by telling stories in general. One of his favorite things to do is tell Purdue jokes before class starts. Study your notes, and he will do okay.He sometimes also gives a "nudge nudge wink wink" about a topic that is on the test

Trent is one of the best professors I have ever had. He makes coming to class fun, and a SG is given so you know exactly what will be on the test. I wish it were possible to take all of my classes with him. I'd be on the freaking Dean's list. Definitely take his classes. It's worth it.

Trent was a very nice and funny guy. The class was super easy and interesting enough to pay attention to. The lab was a lot of fun and never a drag. He gives a lot of absences which is really nice.
