Unbelievably monotone. I showed up to class willing and forcing myself to listen but was immediately put to sleep by his boring lectures. He will never give you anything lower than a B, but he never really help you better your writing.

Professor Zeppetello is a really nice guy who cares about how you are doing in his class. He will make time to meet with you. He also gives extra credit if you expresss your interest. Well respected guy and gives very few papers. You don't need to read the textbook as the class consists of him explaining the reading. Can get boring but easy.

So monotone. Half the class was falling asleep and not paying attention the whole time. Also, he didn't really teach writing, and gave incredibly vague feedback on our very few, very short papers. I'm happy, because the class was an easy pass for me, even though I'm not great at writing, but if you want to learn something, don't take him

He's pretty monotone, but if you bare through that, you can actually learn a lot. His class is basically a history class. I really enjoyed it. He's also a pretty easy grader. You can come to him and ask to redo a paper to get a better grade. Midterm was take home and easy.

Dr. Z is a very inspirational teacher. His ENG120 course focuses on difference in cultures, which is interesting. He assigns 4 papers throughout the semester, most 5-6p, the last only 2p. The final is 10-12p, midterm: paper written in class. Directions clear and he's open to questions and will meet with and email you. Clearly gives suggestionshelp

Prof. Zeppetello is a great teacher. He is the Director of the Writing Center, so he allows students to hand in papers up to a week late, as long as they went to the Writing Center. There are 4-5 smaller papers (4-6 pgs.) and a Final Research paper (10-12 pgs.) He makes a lot of jokes and is thoroughly interested in politics and world cultures.

He was incredibly boring, very monotone. the textbook for this class was also boring. he's kind of condescending too. howevr, he assigned very few small assignments, at least for this class, practically our entire grade was tests and our final paper. i fell asleep most of the time.

He's a nice guy, but the class was horribly boring.Unless you adore writing about writing, I would suggest taking something else.I love English, but this class put me to sleep. Still, there are perks - there is practically no work, just a midterm and final paper. HW is just reading, then class discussion. He's knowledgable, but it was so not fun.

a lot of writing and i'm not sure how he grades until i hand in my portfolio at the end, so it's a little stressful knowing that's my final grade and i have no idea what's coming, but overall i like the class and he has his funny comments at times...i don't know how a lecture with him would go though...

good guy but extremely boring. class consists of reading articles on your own, beating them to death in class and nothing else. you'll cover about 3 articles in one class. essays every 2 weeks that are hard to get A's on, but also hard to get lower than a B. pretty much an automatic B. class will put you to sleep in about 4 seconds.
