Bruh. She has never been on time to her lectures. And when she finally arrives she takes at least another 10 minutes to get herself organized. She takes weeks to respond to any emails. There is no point to showing up to her lectures because she never covers material that correspond to the course. She gets off topic easily. AVOID HER IF YOU CAN

She is a very nice lady, but I wouldn't recommend taking her. You write 5 papers and she grades those fairly easily but I never felt prepared for a single quiz or exam. Her quizzes are way too hard and challenging to study for because there is very certain information on them. She doesn't use powerpoint and her lectures tend to be hard to follow.

Awful class. Will most likely have to retake this. Quizzes are very nit picky. Papers are graded not too harshly but wrote movie critiques not even based on plot more about production. Exams are all essays so dont take if youre not a good writer. Never posts on blackboard. Hardly discussed book in class but must read for quizzes and exams

This class was the worst history class I've taken in all my years. She is a nice professor but she NEVER posts grades on blackboard, she doesn't do powerpoints, and her exams are writing only. You must read to pass. If you skip class you will most definitely miss important information.

She means well, but her quizzes are nit picky and not what we learned in class so you'll need the textbook and look at the tiny details and focus on the people. The film critiques and other assignments are easy. She told us what was exactly on the big tests, so that was easy to study for. She doesn't allow tech in class and there are no powerpoints

Shes a nice professor, but made the whole class so mad by not posting a single grade all semester. No body knew their grade until she officially posted it on peoplesoft. I still dont know what I got on my final. All I know is that I got a C. She makes us purchase all these books but never discusses them in class. She is such a harsh grader too.

Lectures are unorganized. There is no structure to the course. Going to the lectures is pointless because most of the things on the study guide were never mentioned in class. You still have to go because she Randomly shows movies that youre expected to critique and they cant be made up. NO blackboard, Doesnt email, total disorganization.

Dr. Anderson is a nice professor but she makes the class hard and is a tough grader. She always promises to post stuff on blackboard on multiple occasions and that just never happened. She also just doesn't post your grades on blackboard. When she does lectures her power points are literally just pictures and her talking for the whole time.

She is a nice lady, however her grading criteria is very unclear. She grades papers kindly, but for tests she will take off points anywhere that she can. She will ask you an opinion question on a test and still take off points. Nice person, but would not recommend for a class that is supposed to be relatively easy. Don't take if you want a good GPA

Dr. Anderson is a really great professor who genuinely wants you to succeed. Her study guides are incredibly helpful in preparing for the midterm and final. She also likes to incorporate class-wide discussions on current events, which keeps it interesting. Would highly recommend for those interested in American history and American politics.

Professor Anderson loves to talk. She will want you to participate. She does talk about current events often and she shows movies a lot. She does not really assign work, but you do have to turn in analysis's of the movies. Read the book, you'll wish you had later on.

MOST BORING CLASS EVER!! Literally if you're not interested in history, this class will put you to sleep. There are no powerpoints. You just listen to her talk for 2 hours. Quizzes are really tough, you have to remember the smallest non-important info from a chapter. Exams aren't bad cuz she gives study guides that are just like the test.

Hands down the worst class I've ever taken. More of an independent study than an actual lecture. Do not expect to learn anything in class as there are field trips instead. Multiple field trips that are not scheduled during regular class times and very inconvenient, since we are responsible for the financial aspect of travel to the field trips.

Part time teacher who doesn't seem to care very much. She cancels class a lot. Attendance is not mandatory, but there's something due each week. The class focused more on film critiques then actual history. Bunch of quizzes on non-important information. Avoid if possible

Worst history professor at Towson. Took Maryland history with her and it was a nightmare. She had us doing loads of work for the Maryland Historical Society that just focused on preparing exhibit for the Society. Lots of mandatory travel to city. Take only if you don't mind learning nothing about Maryland and paying money to do her work for her

Professor Anderson is such a sweet person. The 3 movie papers are super easy, as well as the 2 online assignments. She cancelled class a few times. For the midterm and final she hands out study guides which are just like the exam.

If you're a history major, make it a point to take her classes. I've taken 2 different 400 level classes with her and they are brutally easy. She cracks jokes and has no problem when anyone else in class does the same. Uses field trips to historic places, so her classes are interesting. Don't listen to the naysayers. Easily my favorite Prof here.

Not hard at all. Takes a little common sense and very little work to get an A. She canceled classes a number of times. A few easy papers were assigned. About 3 quizzes and review sheet on what the test/exam is on is given out before, so you know what to expect.

She is the worst teacher I have ever had in my whole life. She gave me my first failing grade in college. (This fall I will be a senior) Her lectures are boring. She gives 2 tests which are extremely hard. She grades very difficult. Shes not helpful when you ask for help. Being a part time teacher, I dont think she truly cares about her students.
