Comment:
Hwk isn't required to hand-in but he gives a ton of it and it's to your advantage to do it (not only will you obviously better learn the material but he'll be much more apt to help you out when it comes to your final grade; same with attendance). Nice guy, okay professor but, for an intro to topology course there should be less focus on proof.

Doesn't teach subject, he teaches propeties which makes it hard to understand. Fails most his class, even if graduation is on the line. Many of use failed, many of us can no longer graduate this upcoming summer. One of my friends is even being suspended, this class took all of her time, resulting in failing couple of her classes. Stay away from SS

I wasn't impressed with Sam Shore.. I didn't think he was helpful, though I did visit him during office hours, or was very fair in grading. Classes were boring and hard to sit through. I did not enjoy this class and I wouldn't recommend taking it.

never ever take this class unless you absolutely love math proof and took proof with shore. he loves to assign 3 hw assignments a week which take up to 6 hours a piece. terrible teacher, and cant explain questions students have even during office hours. highly unrecommended. better off switching to BA Math

Excellent tteacher. Very hard grader, but easy scale. If you go to every class and do all the homework you will pass. Helpful and willing to help outside class. Enthusiastic about teaching and getting students to learn.

He's a really bright guy, and a good teacher, but unclear about some topics in class. Go to every class, do every assignment, and then do them again. You're going to need to.
