Probably the single most helpful and knowledgeable professor I've ever taken at my tenure at La Salle University. Long story short I was having an awfulsemester... went to him and explained my situation and he was very understanding and helped me every step of the way. Extremely intelligent and has great stories. Take him if you get the chance.

I really enjoyed his class. The professor did not give out a lot of work and only gave two test and one paper. If you read the material then you should be able to pass the test. Very helpful!

It's been a decade since I had Ed in class. Since then, I have moved on to become a professor myself at a competing Philadelphia university. Studying with Turzanski was a transformational experience. Take a class with the guy, see if you can cut it, and find out what all the fuss is about.

He's a very smart and accomplished man! You can't take that away from him. But it goes to his head and he frequently interrupted students while answering questions. So wild. I never experienced that. Just read & take notes.

He is an ok teacher. He is very unclear with his directions. It is alot of reading for a 100 class. If ur a history major, i would suggest taking him.

Very nice man.. Definitely knows what he's talking about but assigns sooo much reading. We had to buy 5 novels and read them all thoroughly within the semester. Only had 2 tests and 3 papers. I thought it was a little much for a first semester freshman in a 100 level class.

I believe his views are backwards. The books he assigns mimmicks his own opinion. And when someone doesnt agree he basically mocks them. Turzanski is doing the students a great injustice when it comes to other views. I would not take another class.

What a mixed bag. He's definitely very knowledgeable and I got a lot out of the material of his class. He prompted great discussions. However, I don't think I've ever met someone more arrogant in my life. He once interrupted class by saying, "Oh, excuse me, it's the BBC." He kept on ignoring my requests for help w/ my thesis. I'm conservative, too.

Great teacher, absolutely great. TAKE HIM. I dont know what that last clown was thinking, but he is fair. Of course he is conservative, but he offers both sides of the argument. He is also a great guy. He personnaly spent an hour after class to offer me advice on my career in the government. class is packed full of both info and life lessons

Wow...It is disturbing to see that so many students believe Turzanski's slanted material is the truth. He is arrogant, condescends to anyone that dissents to his conservative views, and more importantly delivers material in a pedantic manor. Turzanski needs to learn that a classroom isnt his soapbox for pro-Republican anti-human rights rhetoric.

By far my favorite teacher at La Salle -- take ANY class by Turzanski, even if you're not a poli-sci major, because his knowledge--in both life and politics--is unmatched. We only had 1 quiz, a midterm, and a final, and otherwise he lectured and took questions, but even at 8 am, it was an amazing experience and a lot of fun.

I recommend this teacher although he likes to drop names because he is an ex-member of the CIA he is a pretty easy teacher. He explains everything you need to know on the tests. The paper is a pain but he gives you a lot of time to do it.
