She is a super nice professor. Whenever I emailed her for help she was super super nice but not the most helpful. Im not a science person but Ive never gotten below an A in a science class, but I know for sure Ill be getting a B this semester. The lectures were pre recorded which made it super difficult for me to actually learn

Do not take this professor, especially if you struggle with chemistry just in general. She will not help at all, not lead you towards the right direction, and does not at least try to help her students become better. Don't bother trying to go to office hours, so just save yourself the grade and choose someone else.

This professor has been the worst one I have ever had. Not only can you not understand her; she does not care if the class average is under 60% and she does not have respect for anyone.

Professor Qi was incredibly hard to understand during lecture due to her heavy accent. As chemistry is already a difficult subject, this made things way harder. She also wouldn't communicate through email because she didn't understand them. Also, our class average on the first exam was a 65% which she thought was fine, on a 100 level course.

Professor Qi is somewhat hard to understand, but she explains things as clearly as she can for an orgo lab. I ended up with a 98% which boosted my lecture grade. She doesn't grade that difficultly, except for the abstract. On multiple occasions I asked her a question from the assigned manual Q's and she just gave me the answer. Would take again.

Professor Qi was a great professor. She was nice and easy to approach. Her tests were hard, but it is quantitative chem, so it is going to be hard. If you write down the problems in class, and do the homework you will be fine.

Dr. Qi is a very nice, very smart, but tough woman! She is a fair grader, but if your not a good test taker you might want to be cautious with this class! Quizzes and tests (The final is 200 points!) are the main portion of this class! The lab just helps raise your grade. I had an A- going into the final and finished with a B-, so study study study

Incredibly kinda lady. She is eager to teach and help. She has an obvious passion for the subject and is always willing to meet with you and help you understand. She does have a bit of an accent which takes a bit to get used to but it honestly isn't that bad. I highly recommend her for this class.

Dr. Qi is an amazing professor. Her lectures are very clear and she explains everything. She a little hard to understand but that's just because of her accent. Her exams and quizzes are all based on lecture, do the homework she assigns and you'll do fine. She makes an awesome lab instructor. Extremely helpful, and she doesn't make you feel stupid.

She is a very hard prof and doesn't seem very interested in her students. I fact one time I asked her a question and all she said was I do not understand why you don't get it, as someone else. I felt this was very rude and honestly it upset me.

tough if you don't do the work. The subject is extremely defficult but possible if you attend class and do the hw. I got a C on the 1st test and then brought it up to an A by working hard. She's willing to help if you are polite... She didn't help the people who were disgustingly rude and impatient which is understandable

Very unclear, couldn't understand a word she said. Her exams were nothing like any review she ever gave us. I dreaded going to this class especially at 8 am. If you want to pass with better than a D then I recomend getting the heck out of her class as fast as you can.

She is a hard teacher not because of material, but she will tell you she does not teach math or lower level chem classes. She will embarrass you in front of others and if she feels that you are not an A student she ignores your questions. She is not a good professor for Chemistry 116

She continuously ridiculed us calling us stupid. She even mentioned that she can't teach math when most of the problems involve some kind of math and she said that she should probably be able to do the chemistry problems. She is the worst prof. I have ever had and I would not recommend her.

Okay so everyone who says that she is a good prof notice that they took her for 102 I think anyone could pass that class. She SUCKS!She is hard to understand and thinks that a 68% is a good class average...no curve on anything even when almost everyone fails. Her worksheets were helpful if you memorized them right before a quiz but tests were HARDER.
