First I though may be I am the one facing issue. Then I realize that many students are also facing this. He is hard working and helpful. You really need to attend his all classes else you will face real trouble . You can take his course but you need to work a lot.

Worst ComputerScience teacher ever. YouTube is moreHelpful than his lectures. Doesn't care about whatDifficulties his students are facing. Wants everything to go old school, like no use of the internet forPracticing, writing code on paper, etc. And a slight match of theCode with code availableOnline leads to AcademicMisconduct (gives negative 100%)

From own experience and from talking to other students who had courses with him at some point, Dr Miminis courses are always tough and exams are extremely heavy. He is a really nice guy but really hard to understand and his notes just make it worse.

He's the worst professor and he has no humanity at all. I Will not recommend this professor if you want to learn. YouTube was much more helpful than his lectures. His notes are confusing and not set properly, his lesson plan is trash, never responds to his student's emails. Tests are very very very hard when compared to what he teaches in class.

Guy doesn't care for his students and unhelpful. Lecture slides are confusing for no reason and the lectures themselves cause physical pain. He mumbles and spins in his office chair for 60 minutes. Learned more from youtube. Probably still the best option for first year comp, but would avoid under any other circumstances.

Professor George's explanations were easy to understand. However, U will get doubts here and there when listening to the lectures. In such cases, just go through that part of the book and you will be able to clear your doubts.(only 2,3 pages).I took this course in Fall 2020(remote learning) . This is an easy beginner friendly course.

Comment:
The Numerical Methods course was toughtoo many assignments (6 series). The weight of the assignments was deficient (30%). The exams were very, very hard and did not similar to the assignments at all. The teacher does not have good morals and does not answer the students' questions patiently.

The guy doesn't seem all bad, but he doesn't answer emails and teaches poorly. Unless you join live sessions, which half the time only his assistants show up, he will not answer any questions you have or any deadline extensions.

Comment:
The guy started the semester by threatening students with suspensions if they looked up answers on net. Gave no examples in class, and expected you to solve numericals in exams with no prior practise. He misguided me during the final and when I confronted him about it he said maybe i did or didnt, either way you cannot prove it. Avoid him.

George is good. At first he may seem a bit intimidating, but he is very nice and very caring to his students. The lab quizzes are a bit difficult and he doesn't offer much preparation for them, lectures are very well detailed and interesting however. Assignments can be confusing as well, but he does offer clarification where he can. Overall decent

A good person. He clearly cares for students, but I wish he could be more interesting. Maybe it's because MUN made me take this class even though I know everything in it, but this class is boring. Also, he never prepares you for labs which can leave weaker students in trouble. Other than that he's pretty good. He tries to be funny.(Doesn't work!)

Really nice guy, and very engaging so long as you share as much enthusiasm for the topics of the course as he does. Active conversation is expected, which helps with the mathematically denser material. Marks were easy to get up until the 25% final exam (many failed). Overall, really great prof and knows his stuff, and expects that you do as well.

Nice guy, helpful. He's usually a serious guy but can be funny when he tries. Decently engaging lectures, though his notes (in-class and online) are too mathematical: many concepts could be explained in plain English but aren't. If you're good at matrices and enjoy dealing with them, you'll like CS3731; otherwise, you won't.

Does not prepare you for labs, which makes lab time useless, class time is often wasted with confusing and useless notes, extremely rude, refuses to give any sort of outline or format for his tests. Midterm included material he had not yet taught so he tried to teach it while we wrote. HORRIBLE PROF, avoid at all costs!

Comment:
Difficult Class - because there is a lot of hard material to cover. Good lecture style and notes, but only scratches the surface. If you want / need help just ask at an office hour - Prof Miminis is reasonable. Overall very good class - assignments and project were a lot of work, but that is how you learn things.

he may be good for higher courses but as for comp sci 1510, all he is going to do is screw you over, the midterm average was a fail and he doesn't teach the material before the labs
