This is probably the easiest class to get an A. All you have to do is write 4 papers that are 2500 words long. As long as you meet the word requirement you will get an A.

This class was taken asynchronous during COVID. The entire course is 4 2500 word essays. He gives study guides for the essays. As long as your essays meet the 2500 word threshold this should be an easy A as Custer is a really generous grader. Also extra credit opportunity.

online ANTH229 was v easy to pass. absolutely no lecture material (no quizzes, tests, etc.) . your grade was based off 2 midterm essays and 2 final essays, one of each based on some material from the assigned book. He was an easy grader imo. i started my essays last minute both times and i still got an A-. the essay topics were interesting too

Very friendly and well informed, I loved the course. He was shaky on technology when I took his lectures pre-covid, so if you depend on online resources or have a virtual class from him that will be rough.

He is extremely outdated in his ideas and teaching method. He does not post slides, and talks way too fast so good luck taking notes. It is simple enough to get a good grade, but if you want a good learning experience DO NOT TAKE THIS TEACHER. You will learn nothing other then what he believes to be true and he belittles everything else.

Great professor who is passionate about archaeology. He gives you the syllabus with the study guides for the quiz, midterm and final; which are the only grades in the class. He doesn't post notes online, so write fast or record him talking. As long as you follow the study guide there's no way to not get an A and he gives extra credit. TAKE HIM

Professor Custer is great. The class is just two exams: an in-class paper (which he gives you the possible questions ahead of time) and a take-home final. Both are relatively easy as long as you prepare. Make sure you go to class, as he does not post slides or anything online. A very good class and professor.

Not my favorite, but I learned a lot. Only grades are the midterm and final (essays). He gives you the questions before the exam so if you study, you'll do fine. Class isn't mandatory, but he doesn't post slides, so go! No need for the textbook, he gives you all the info. Also, ZERO tolerance for phones or talking during class.

This class is horrible. It is a breadth course and it was my lowest grade of the semester. He goes way to quick with the slides and doesn't put them online or do course capture. He is way too opinionated and takes this BREADTH course way too seriously. DO NOT TAKE! plus the final had way more on it than what was on the 100 term study guide

The most condescending person you'll ever meet. So rude, so opinionated and he likes to hear himself talk. The tests aren't as easy as people say anymore because he asks such detailed questions sometimes. DONT take any of his classes if you can there are SO many better options out there. He is a horrible professor. He needs a new teaching method

Professor Custer is not a good professor. He is so opinionated which gets in the way of his teaching. Attendance is necessary because he doesn't put notes online. The class was only easy because the tests are jokes. And the material has the potential to be interesting but not the way he delivers it. Oh and SO MUCH extra credit, so easy to get an A

An easy A class, but Custer is one of the worst profs I've had at UD. He's extremely opinionated and seems to hate America. I was hoping to learn about the Native Americans but just learned that this guy has something bad to say about every president we've had except Obama... Anyway, hardly used the book, just write his opinion and you'll get an A

I went to maybe 25% of the classes and still managed to get atleast a B+ It was impossible for me to wake up at 8 AM for this. Gives a study guide with all the terms for the exams. So if you memorize the study guide, you'll do well on the exams. He also does extra credit. Didnt like the class though, kinda boring and hes an ass sometimes

Laid back, small class (15 students). two blue book exams (the first is pretty easy and the final is take-home). Didn't use a book so exams were based just off powerpoints. Tends to go through them fast sometimes so it's hard to copy down everything. Gives you a big syllabus including terms and questions that the exams will cover.

This teacher has an extremely strong agenda. He talks about his opinions and personal anecdotes more than actual information. He also sometimes has weird outbursts. He yelled at two kids next to him for talking, but the were not talking at all.The amount of work is annoying but he's a decently fair grader and the class is not impossible and helpful

Okay, so his class is VERY easy. BUT, he's got too strong an agenda. I honestly remember nothing but him talking about how terrible we've been to natives. I've been to all the classes, and that's honestly all I remember. We learned nothing the syllabus said we would. I feel like I wasted an entire semester for what could have been one seminar.

This class wasn't as great as I hoped. The entire first half of the class talked about genocide, which could have been covered in 2 days. It was boring at times, but in the end it wound up being enlightening. I would recommend taking this class because it opens your eyes, but don't get on Custers bad side, he can be a real jerk
