Overall a very good prof. Does a good job teaching what is generally a tough course for most students. Very helpful, responds to emails promptly. Weekly assignments are a bit long but well worth it in the end. Wrote his own course notes which are good but there are no answers to the practice questions in the back. 4.5/5.0 overall

I loved Watson for Math 1000. His notes are well organized and really helpful. They give you examples almost exactly like the questions on the assignment and he's always willing to answer any questions in class, after class, or in his office. Very helpful, really funny. Chats with students. Test are fair, and he prepares you well for them.

One of the better first-year profs. Very funny and friendly. Good at explaining examples, but spends a lot of time on proofs. Sometimes teaches material for assignments the day before they're due, but assignments are ok. Tests are good but make sure you study the inclass examples, not just the assignments.

This guy basically ruined my semester. Apart from his class, I have an A+ average. His tests have nothing to do with his assignments, and notes have nothing to do with either. People say not to take Suvak's class, but Suvak will TEACH YOU WHAT YOU NEED for the tests. This man will not. If you like math avoid him like the plague.

Very good math prof so far. His assignments are usually really hard, and the questions obscure, having little to do with the examples he did in class. His lectures are usually amusing though, and he's not intimidating. Pretty good.

He was best kind I guess. I had a good tutor so I made ok and came out with an A but I don't think it was thanks to how he taught. Nice guy, funny in a lame way. Tests were easy compared to others I saw from other classes.

Would not recommend him for anyone who is NOT planning to be a Math Major. He didn't teach the material until the day assignments were due, his examples in class were unrelated to those on the assignments and tests. He also taught "justifications" which usually took 30 mins of a 50 min class which were for "interest only".

His evaluations are very fair, but his assignments are a tad bit confusing considering he leaves the crutial material needed for the assignment until the last class (generally the day it's due). Often times he has difficulty answering and understanding questions. Overall he's a pretty nice guy.

Not bad, although he does teach material covered on assignments which are sometimes due the next day. If you go to the paid tutorials, you can do well in this course. Its not that bad. His tests were definitely fair, as was the final exam. The assignments were far more challenging than the tests and prepare you well for them. A nice guy too!

I liked him a lot. I just saw him outside his office one day and asked him a question and he was happy to help. Some of his explanations are very confusing especially on the derivative of an integral. One thing I didn't like was how he didn't teach you topics on your assignment until the day before sometimes. His tests were fair though.

If you get him, run. he is quite possible the worst prof ever. He always waits till the last possible class to teach stuff on tests and assignments, and has tests, quizzes and assignments within two days

My math foundation sucks, so I found myself looking forward to the course with some trepidation, but I was fortunate to have Dr. Watson for a prof. Always willing to help out students, even when it's not office hours. Sometimes his explanations can be brusque and unclear, but does try. One of the good profs in the faculty.

His lectures can be a little confusing at times, but as long as you do the assignments, you can do well on the tests since they're way harder.

A GREAT prof. Funny and easy-going. I actually got his help with other math courses because he's so much friendlier than most of the math faculty.
