Took Brain and Behaviour and it was the hardest course I've ever taken. Persinger is an incredible and inspirational professor and just listening to him speak is invigorating. I would take another course by him but he makes you work for a passing grade

Very concise and clear, teaches not only the subject matter but how to apply it and how it applies to you, you will learn more about yourself in his class than you will in any other, extremely engaging and witty, always willing to answer ANY question that even remotely pertains to psychology, sat with us during breaks and whole heartedly taught us

Great professor, Seriously. He's more then knowledgeable in his fields. For anyone who gets bored of the same old, you should take his classes. And only Persinger could make you learn that much to such an expertise. Plus, uses psych to teach psych, which many others cant do. If you want to learn, and are not fond of assignments, I recommend Dr. P.

Reading all of the lecture notes is hard if you don't understand the words, but if you want to pass start reading. Tests are short, but doesn't mean they're easy. Lectures are interesting, but there's a lot of material to know.

Most amazing, wild, crazy, raunchy, entertaining lectures you'll probably ever have in university. That being said, this class kills your GPA. Midterm averages were like 40% and he said that meant the class was doing phenomenal. Lectures arent really important but the notes that are emailed out are. Keep in mind this class does have a 3 hour lab!!

Probably the best professor I've ever had. I've never had someone make me THAT interested in the lecture. B&B is a difficult course in and of itself but he makes lectures interesting. Very tough class and a lot to learn, but you will be thankful in the end! He is a great man and I would take all my classes with him given the chance :)

Brilliant professor, excellent engaging lecturer, tough exterior but a heart of gold. I'd take classes with him again, would be happy to. Get ready to read, he covers A LOT of material but in the end you'll be happy you took it with him because you'll have actually learned something.

Dr. Persinger is clever, and beneath his adversarial exterior is an educator who challenges students to become great. He is difficult to track down at times, but his time is well worth waiting for. I have now been a professor of Psychology for 5 years now, and I find that I have modeled much of my own pedagogical philosophy upon his wise tutelage.

Owe my career in academics and a lot more to Dr. P. You don't see old-school profs like him any more. Dr. P. is a prof that that haven't lost his passion for teaching even the first year courses. Hardest earned C in my life but spellbound the entire 6 years studying with him.
