Lab exam days are mandatory and if you miss them there is no chance to make it up. Make sure you do good on the pop quizzes, a bad grade on those will definitely hurt you. Overall, dont slack off in this class and if youre struggling, reach out to her because she didnt reach out to me until I was close to failing her class.

Nice professor. Weekly friday assessments are easy although they're timed so make sure you study. Goes kind of fast during class but otherwise a good, caring professor who engages with the students.

Computer and Info Tech. Easy class with clear instructions. She can be a bit annoying at times, but it's an easy class. Follow directions. She is easy to get along with, just communicate with her. Quizzes online are on your own, so easy to get 100% on. In class exams are application problems (Word, PPT, Excel, Access) that are also very easy.

Each Friday assessment was online. The only tests we had in class were the labs. Not a hard class at all if you just do the work. The final was online as well. Nancy was a great instructor and always made sure the grading criteria was clear for everyone.

Her work is not hard at all but make sure you study for the weekly quizzes (even though they're open book you have a limited time to do them) but beside that you won't really use your textbook in class. She's very helpful and nice. It's like your regular computer class in high school but with a little more detail.

If you already have a decent knowledge about computers, this course is frustrating and repetitive. In class you go over Word, Excel, Powerpoint, and Access over the semester. Outside of class, you are supposed to read the textbook and study the information about how the computer works. You have a quiz on friday every week over that material.

The teacher herself isn't bad, it's more the material in class. She teaches the class however the test material is made by another teacher and therefore the information she teaches isn't relevant to the tests. Zeliff is a little quirky but she is a fine teacher. Only issue is the weekly quizzes as they are impossible to pass.

Comment:
The class is very hard. The weekly quizzes are extremely hard. I've failed everyone. It is possible to get a B if you get 100% on all of the assignments. She doesn't grade any of the assignments, GA's do. Zeliff is also arrogant and seems like everyone should already know all of the stuff. Constantly uploads the wrong assignments and blames others.

The weekly quizzes are impossible unless you know a lot about computers. You can read/study for hours and still fail them. You have to work hard for a B but you have to get a 100% on everything else. She is rude and has a GA grade everything. This is the worst class ever.

Nancy Zeliff was an awesome teacher and willing to help when you reached out to her. The class is extremely difficult, especially being for a computer class. The class is hard, the teacher is great, so don't blame her. Have to work really hard to even get a B in the class.

You will pass if you fail all the Friday quizzes and you get almost a perfect score on everything else. She seems like a grump at first but she really is not. This class does require some work outside of class.

Really dumb class... The Friday quizzes are about impossible. Have to study a lot to come close to an A. Should be easy but it's not.

Her grading system starts from random numbers and she starts subtracting. An assignment worth 5 points for instance could have 15 facets and for every one wrong she subtracts 1. VERY confusing grading system Good Luck

I wasn't a fan of the first computer class, it was quite ridiculous...but as a business education major, she was a completely helpful advisor. So fun and intriguing.

The course is taught by over-worked GA's that rarely get any thanks and have no power against any students that may and do yell at them. She feels that leaving with her family to a football game in Alabama is more important than doing her work at NW. Don't expect your grade back soon, GA's are students who want to leave in 1.5 years.
