He's a nice guy, but I just hated the class. The exams feel easy, but when you get the grade back you'll be upset. Study way in advance because there's so much material (3 days is not sufficient, apparently). Don't bother with the text because everything you need is in his lecture slides, which are posted online, and explained further in class.

Hard class but if you pay attention and actually do and pay attention to the homework, you can pass pretty easily.

He likes to hear himself talk. But he doesn't like to hear himself talk in the vernacular. I spent half of my time trying to figure out what he was even talking about. He overcomplicates things. And don't waste your time emailing him for help. He won't reply.

Max is a really intelligent man. Unfortunately, sometimes it's hard to remember the fact because of his frequent usage of "uh" and "um."

I don't know anything about philosophy even though I find it interesting, so I was pretty lost in there. Nonetheless, I enjoyed the class because he is very funny and easygoing (not to mention hot :D). He knows his stuff and is enthusiastic, so it was enjoyable.

He's very nice to watch, but he likes to talk a lot and he gives a lot of work. Presentation, readings with quizzes, and 4 or 5 papers. He is not easy on you when it comes to grading your papers.

I enjoyed this class. The only thing I would have liked to change is to have more essays instead of the majority of assignments being reading. Group presentation went well at the end of the semester, and I made a B in the course.

This was the hardest class I took at CBU. I have no idea what we talked about, but he took us to IHOP a couple of times. And he was interesting to listen to. And hot.

This class was hard, but he gave lots of helpful resources to understand some of the philosophies we were reading about. He is very young and still very interested in what he's teaching, so his enthusiasm is very motivating.
