Schini is very clear about what she wants and the material was extremely easy. She lets you know exactly what's on exams and as long as you do the homework, you're more than prepared.

Worst class I've ever taken at West Chester. Half of the class failed the first exam but she claimed it was "not her fault." Do not take.

Study the book and form groups to study after class so you can share knowledge because you will not get it all. She is good about answering questions outside of class. Do not fall behind. and do all problems in the book for practice and from class too and you can do well.

challenging course but it is the material that is difficult, not the professor. she expects students to put in effort & if you do that you will be fine. HOMEWORK IS IMPORTANT, that is what will allow you to pass her class. also compliment her on her purple uggs, she'll love it

Pretty Difficult teacher. Gets frustrated when students are not up to par. Homeworks are obnoxiously long, but tests are surprisingly easier than homeworks, so if you put in the time you're golden. Extra credit for perfect attendance. Drops one test grade if you do well on the final. Avoid her if possible.

The worst teacher at WCU. Teaches how to use the calculator but not the math behind it. Not helpful and very rude. Should be fired!

She was terrible. HW was long & difficult. I spent 6 hours doing the HW. She was not lenient & always had to curve her tests for every class. Her voice is boring & she was never willing to help. I wound up withdrawing because I was going to fail. It was the worst class I've ever taken.

Tests are HARD! She doesn't test you to see what you know: She tests you to give you trick question to see if you can figure it out! Homework takes forever.None of the homework questions will be on the test,so don't think if you understand the homework, you will do great on the test. Her explanations are extremely confusing. Don't take her!

Yeah she's hard and can be a little rude to students at times but 326 is required for any finance grad...so bury your pride and just pay attention, take notes, do hw, make use of note cards for tests, and WORK HARD ON THE PROJECT! she made the class and herself seem more difficult then it was in reality.

Ok, So as you can see she is a difficult teacher. However, I do mean However, she is a teacher that will teach you. Homework is difficult, tests are challenging, the 100 page project is time consuming, but overall I have learned so much. I would recommend this teacher to anyone who isn't lazy and trying to breeze through college.

Expected grade: A)Tests were hard, frequent homework with irrelevant questions on the wretched MyFinanceLab. Half the time she went over problems she had a different answer from book. Project--First part I wrote 70 pages, second part was 30 pages. Extremely time consuming and dull. So bad, they don't even give out student evaluations for her.

Everyone gives her a bad rep because of the project. It's not hard if you put effort into it. I was confused on how to start but if you ask to see old examples then you'll get an idea of what she wants. Tests werent hard and most of the questions are based on examples in each chapter, not the homework. Fnance majors will take a lot away from her!

She gets a worse rap than she should. This course is for Finance majors/minors, it should be hard. As long as you show up at class & do a little bit of the project here and there, you should easily get an A. Tip for the tests - don't even worry about the homework practice problems. Read each chapter and do the problems within the chapter b4 tests.

It's a moderately hard class and she's the only one that teaches it so if you want to be a finance major you have to suck it up. One word of advice - learn the concepts by reading the chapters over and over. Don't expect to memorize the homework problems for a good grade on the tests. She's ok i guess but I just went to class and taught myself.

absolutely TERRIBLE! doesn't explain things well when you ask for help/clarification. When i missed class due to my aunt's funeral, she asked me if i was sure i had to go to the funeral?!?!!!! and then, after proving my aunt really did die, she wouldn't give me an extension on the exam or the assignments. i dropped before i failed

Professor Shini is an awesome teacher! She teaches her concepts very cleary and used my finance lab which has a lot of practice problems and also has homework. She is a very fair grader and gives out a lot of extra credit. If you attend class and do the homework you should have no problem getting a good grade!
