It is incredible how you can read the book, do the practice exams, and still do miserably poor on the actual exams because the exams are created to trick you. They want you to fail. Make sure you know how to decipher cryptic messages because there is nothing clear about this class. The professor needs a lesson in proper email etiquette; super rude.

She called me a lady, which is nice. The class is way better than some other courses I have taken in the psychology dept. She also wrote a book, which is also super. The psych major is impacted, so it's rough out there, but I do recall this as a better class I had taken.

I took the 1st midterm yest. & let me tell you it was designed to trick u. She gives a disclaimer saying "students claim its harder than the practice exam and thats bc people take it w/ the key and they are in a different state-of-mind during the real exam," but NO. That was RIDICULOUS. I get its curved but whats the point if she TRIES to trick u??

She wasn't hard! just read summaries and know terms from book. know lecture and be able to apply. Exam answers are not tricky but you really need to understand the question. You do not need to make any assumptions, guesses. If you see the obvious answers or answer then pick it. the paragraph given or the question will include the answer of the ?s

i hope the next time she is late more than 10 minutes for ANYTHING that she stops to reflect on the ridiculous guidelines for the class. extremely confusing exams designed to trick you instead of testing knowledge or learning. most useless class about the most useless subject ever. i hope the TAs continue to do useless research while making 60k/yr
