Best prof at X. Has a really dry sense of humour but the more you hear it the more hilarious he gets. If you have multiple classes with him/ go to office hours/ engage in class discussions life will be easier for you.

Maltby is the most awesome prof. He's a great guy and even better when you take multiple classes with him and see him in office hours. He can get a little off track sometimes but overall really engaging when teaching.

Best prof I had in my first year. Has a dry sense of humour but goes through the material in a way that you can understand and flows with projects and the textbook. He honestly cares for his students, try hard to make things understandable and is a very approachable prof. My first choice prof by far

Neil's lectures (at least in large classes) are quite dry, and he doesn't give out an 80 just like that like some profs may have. He is however a very nice man who will go to great lengths for his student. He wouldn't be my first choice, but if I had to take another course with him, I'd survive.

Great guy, hard marker. Don't expect an easy grade. Alex or Macissac more likely to give you higher grades then Maltby. Despite this, his lectures are interesting and thoughtful and I learned more than with any other prof.

Great professor, and overall just a great guy. His personal interest in the course material really comes through. His expectations are extremely high, so don't think you can sleep your way through it. Big on participation (especially write ups to gain participation marks).

He is very straight forward in his lectures and is clear with the material. He is always willing to offer non office hours for his students and wants everyone to do well! His lectures can be a little boring sometimes but he's a nice guy and clear with what you need to know for midterms/finals.

Good prof for 1st year nice guy and makes you comfortable - nice transition from High School - but has high expectations. Doesn't have a lot of real business knowledge and very theoretical, hides his lack of business expertise by trying to be one of the students. May not be good in upper years. That said he is way better than other 1st yr profs

Comment:
Examsmidterm materials do not correspond with majority of class focus, expect surprises on anything that is testable. blows off appointments with no notice. Is not helpful outside of class and does not usually respond to emails. He is not the prof you want during your first year transition to university.

Maltby is a beaut. He really gets to know his students. His lectures can be a bit boring sometimes but he really does know his stuff and teaches it well. He's a tougher marker but it's not impossible to do well especially if you're showing up to class and putting effort into assignments. He's funny and friendly - one of the best BSAD profs

Amazing professor. Always welcomes students to ask questions and come for help, and teaches the material in a way that is interesting and concise. He genuinely cares about his students and I would recommend all of his courses to anyone. St Fx is lucky to have him.

Outstanding prof at X. You'll love him in your first year. Takes time to cover topics but it all seems reasonably important. Tough grader but if you work hard it's nothing extreme. GO TO CLASS, participation mark is important. Really nice and interesting guy, plus he has amazing hair and is easy on the eyes. Definitely recommended

Maltby is a great prof. He is always willing to give advice, whether about the class or other topics. He made an effort to get to know everyone's names - and it made a difference in the class. Most exam questions come from the textbook and the multi. choice are tricky. He won't give out high marks for nothing, be prepared to work hard. Great guy!

Comment:
Really bad prof. I will admit that he is a nice man, which I believe is the main reason people think he is so amazing. Put aside his nice personality, and you have a terrible professor. His classes are boring, useless, and much harder than they should be(since they are technically the bird courses in business). Avoid Neil
