Bill is the absolute class of RDC. He's extremely helpful and always available. His classes are not an easy credit by any means, but he prioritizes learning. He will make sure you understand the material. He'll try to make you learn from your mistakes, and will reward you if do. Great guy.

Lectures do not often even relate to anything on the tests. This class should have been a lot easier than he made it. We would have "story time" every thursday taking atleast 20 mins out of a 50 min class. wasnt funny after the second week when i realized i havent learned anything

Bill is a great prof. He is very smart, has a great memory, and a satirical sense of humor. I took criminology from him and found it extremely interesting. He tought us the single best way to research a paper that I have ever seen. 20 page paper was a piece of cake. Go to class. Take good notes. Study the text prior to exams. Have fun.

BEST prof this year. Has a great sense of humour, very intelligent, and extremely helpful. Even though our little class of 12 soci majors razzed the hell out of him, he remained reasonably sane and in good humour. A lot of fun to be around, makes class interesting and marks well. Looking forward to more classes with him!

Very intelligent but uses multiple choice a way to mark the entire calss, multiple choice in my opinion is not a good measure of grading for an academic class.

Not the easiest class, but he develops critical thinking skills. One of my favorite teachers. Very interesting to attend lectures. Have not taken a sociology class that did not have him as a teacher

Bill is a good instructor, he is enthusiastic and knowledgeable. He was terrific for my first criminology class but seemed less excited about my second one. He's rather accommodating and reasonable, likes to joke around a bit. Makes you appreciate the material. The best Soci instructor at RDC.

Bill's a great guy. Funny as hell, sarcastic, sadistic and young at heart. Though frustrating at times hes almost a living legend at RDC.His goal is not so much to give you a good grade, but to make you experience the world in a new way. If you can adjust to his cooky ways then you'll do great, If your concerned about your gpa, maybe avoid this one

Great Guy w/ a seemingly endless wealth of knowledge. Passionate about his subject area which is a natural motivator for students. Took a few of his classes a few years ago and transferred to UofA, still waiting to find a comparable Crim. Prof.

Bill is an outstanding professor, he is beyond intelligent and has a wicked sense of humor. I was interested in Crim before I met Bill however he furthered my passion and because of him I got into the University of my choice. He is nothing less than amazing and I will be forever in debt to him for all that he has done for me and my career.

He cannot answer a question without taking the whole class to do it and going way off topic. VERY ANNOYING in that way but otherwise a good teacher. I got the feeling that you had to agree with him or not at your own risk but I'm not sure. All in all we was not bad but not amazing.

Dr. Stuebing's Crim and Soc. classes put me on the right path to a career in Crim...15 years later, and now I am an instructor of Criminology in a community college. He is an outstanding instructor, and RDC students are privileged to have access to this calibre of intructor. Thanks, Dr. Stuebing! :)

Yeah, hang out with him when he smokes and your grade goes up! He would never make it to grad school by current standards. He doesn't show up to class in the mornings if he doesn't feel like it. A nice guy but...

Best teacher I ever had. Only had him for one class and I changed my career direction to crim. since his class, I relate most of the college crim work I do to something covered in his course. Brilliant, damn funny. (COME TEACH AT UVIC BILL!)
