She was amazing! Didn't grade us harsh, gave us as much time needed to complete assignments, and if I didn't get something she'd be more than willing to help me, her office hours really helped me with my homework. Only one thing I didn't like was that the book was an e-book. Take her!!!

Great teacher who tries her best in order for students to succeed by allowing them to work on problems and giving decent feedback. I didn't pass and i feel like pretty worthless as I did when I failed math classes in middle school or high school maybe the 3rd times a charm....

Sweet teacher, willing to help just ask. She goes quite fast well maybe because it was a fast track class. Lets you use flashcard during tests.

If you want to feel like your back in a highschool math class, go ahead and take her. She does a NEW lexture before a test, and dosent review days before why? Because shes doing a new lecture. Really old school. She has the whole class on this giant textbook. 85% test 15% on LOTS OF HOMEWORK.

2nd time I took Math 425. Failed the first time. Took Prof. August because of recommendations here. She is incredible. She cares if you pass or not. She doesn't move on unless she believes the class gets it. If you are trying she will help you. I was very sorry the class was done, I enjoyed it so much. That has never happened to me before.

Mrs. August is one of those GREAT passionate teachers that truly loves their job She will not hesitate to help you In fact she begs for questions to answer. She goes over EVERYTHING You've got to be REALLY irresponsible to NOT pass her class Like me for not showing up on test review days :D in other words I would/ did take Mrs. Augusts class again

She does not explain the rules to problems she goes over. problems she makes up in her head, she try's to teach u the easiest way but ends up expecting you to know what she's doing and how she's doing it so unless your good at math and can work everything out on your own don't take her! I dropped and took jacinto he is really good at explaining !

Best math professor ever. I took her for a fast track 425 and 25. She really works with students to make sure everyone is on the same page. She's not annoyed with questions, she really encourages them. Decent amount of HW, she allows index cards on the test.

Mrs. August is a great teacher! Theres is a few people in the world that are meant to teach and she is one of them. You can tell that teaching is her passion. She made math easy. She will go over every problem until you get it and if you need extra help she will not hesitate to stay extra time to help. She also has a workshop that you can attend.

BEST algebra teacher. I hadn't taken math in 20 years. Helpful and cares about her students. Extra credit is given for going to the board and going to her study session at the math success center. Explains things so well. Reviews for tests. Doesn't try to trick you. I highly recommend. Though the accelerated class is early don't let that detour you

So... I basically love Professor August!3 She is literally the kindestsweetest person ever. And she's an excellent educator. You'll enjoy attending her class, as she makes every lecture a pleasant experience. Fair amount of homework, and her exams aren't bad either. The best part is, she goes over every exam with students' who attend workshop!

Math 425 was a bit hard for me but she is a very good instructor. She will allow you to retake your exams if you did not pass them. She is always there to answer any questions you may have. I would take her class once again if I had to.

Professor August is probably one of the best math teachers I have ever had. She is very good at explaining things and can tell when a student is struggling. She would never try to trick us on tests with hard problems and just made sure we understood the concept. Amazing, easy, and fun! Take her you won't regret it!!!

August is an amazing teacher! At first i did not want to take this class because its math, and i suck at it but i looked forward to going to her class every morning because she made it fun and she made the material clear to understand. You go up on the board but with another person as well with half of the class, its no big deal its pretty fun!

What you see in the book is what you get on the test and she will even give hints during exams if needed. HW is full credit if you turn it in completed and the tests are not longer than needed Lots of chances to work on the board in class without fear of getting chastised if you make an error. Honestly she is the best math teacher i have ever had.
