Comment:
Dr. Teitelbaum is solid lecturer, he goes over a lot of practice questions so you kno what he expects. His tests aren't hard, but you definitely need to know the concepts. In comparison to other courses, there's not as much theory in this course; the bulk is calculations. Prof cares about students and is accommodating in terms of mark weighting.

Nice person but pretty bad teacher unfortunately. The lectures are so boring you'll be crying inside. The 4 hour labs are as useless as the lectures and 75% of your lab mark is accuracy; it will definitely bring down your overall grade. Do the practice exams and you'll do well in the midterm and final.

He is a good professor, but in this course, the notes are written by him in cursive. Not only that, but some of the explanations he gives are vague. However, Dr. Teitelbaum is easily accessible and will sit down and explain concepts to you if you reach out to him.

Very nice. He will definitely bring up your grade if you don't agree with how your test was graded. The class is boring, the labs are boring and so long. 4 hour labs every week: would not recommend. 20% of your final grade in the class is based on your accuracy in the lab and it definitely brought my grade down. Final was quite hard as well...

His class is very easy but he's terrible. Shows up late to every class (even exams). Does not grade everyone equally for the same answers on tests. VERY boring lectures, they're quite useless. He's so old and clueless, it was very easy for some people to cheat on exams. He recycles old exams so those. I don't recommend this prof.

He's a sweetheart. Always willing to help with assignments and is generous with his grading. Lectures are entertaining and keep me on the edge of my seat although the material can sometimes be dry. His beard is inspiring.

Very possible to get an A+, you just have to sacrifice actually learning anything. Memorize - memorize and more memorization. Learn every formula on the equation sheet he gives you and howwhen to use them, thats it. Don't look at anything else, its a waste of time.

If you came here to seek advice on picking Teitlebaum or Goto, good luck. Other than than, Teitlebaum's classes are boring and he's very monotonous. He reads his notes on a projector so you don't actually need to go to class. His office hours were a lot more helpful than the class itself. The material and tests are fair, but he's just so boring.

One of the best profs I've had. He has taken the trouble to make comprehensive notes for the course. During office hours he was extremely helpful. He would even give you a little help on an exam question if you asked. Most of all, he is considerate about the academic welfare of his students.

Decent prof. Pros: pretty helpful in office hours. Cons: very monotonous/boring lectures (he spends time reading off his notes instead of actually teaching with problems and examples; this is a problem-based course!!!), TA makes up the assignments and includes unnecessary material.
