Daniel seems like a bit of an awkward guy at first. His teaching style is a bit different than a typical drama professor, but he is so amazing at his craft. He truly means well and his classes get better as the semester goes on. Its also an easy A if you do all the assignments and participate.

In no way a good teacher. You can tell he enjoys the subject matter. He should not have pursued teacher. He is a good production manager. He is a good set designer, this man cannot teach. I would describe his class as mundane, pointless, it makes me angry. I want my money back dr Vanhyst. I feel like this class was a scam, kings robbed me!

This class is a guaranteed A if you actually do the readings and write the quizzes. The only times I went during the entire semester were quiz days and presentation days and ended up with an A+. Use lots of class vocab and make him think you love the class and its a breeze. He likes it when you push the limits on projects and be creative.

If you put in effort you get a good grade. Really if show interest he's going to love you. He understands that most students are taking his class because they need an arts credit.
