Comment:
Hard to explain Mosher... funny guy but sometimes hard to understand. V interesting personality. Taken Olympics and Sport Philosophy with him. Olympics was easy, Philosophy wasn't. But both very interesting. Learned a lot from him but classes can be very boring and make you want to skip. About to take History of Sport with him next semester.

I love easy classes which this was but Mosher is an all around bad professor. Instead of teaching students how to think on their own he tries to get them to think the way he does. If you don't, he will be extremely condescending and disrespectful. Only people who have similar political affiliation/are impressionable like him.

He's one of the best professors I've ever had. Don't worry about attending class because he gives out easy a's. He is very easy on his students and understands that everyone has a life outside his class.

Mosher is probably one of the best professors at Ithaca College. He poses great questions about life, and the discussions that take place in his classes are very interesting. He expects you to work, but is very understanding. On top of that he doesn't really have a filter, and has a great sense of humor. Take his classes!

absolutely love this class and this teacher. took his first year seminar for Reel Wild Sports and I did not know what to expect, but ended up being my favorite class. Covered a wide range of topics about life and sport, but mostly just talked. only 2 essays required throughout the semester. Very fun class.

Phenomenal professor. You'll need a thick skin at times, but he's a great teacher and a great guy. If you stick with him and take all his classes, it'll broaden your horizons. I would retake his classes if I could.

Best teacher I've ever had. Definitely not a "typical" professor, but I learned more in his classes than I did in anything else I took at IC. Definitely made me view a lot of things in a different light... Highly recommend him.

Social Aspects was definitely interesting. Has a lot of fun pushing everyone's buttons and usually said one really funny/offensive thing per class. I took notes on the stuff he said more than the actual material, but we watched interesting movies and dicey topics in sport. Absolutely recommend, but be prepared to argue.

I think everyone should take a class with Mosher. If you are planning to take Hist. of Sport, its a great class but its not as "cool" as you might think it will be. I recommend taking a smaller classes with him to really learn from him and get "Mosherized". Mosher is brilliant n makes you open your eyes. He makes you see things u dont see. Take Him

Brilliant professor who I greatly admire. I was a little hesitant on the first day of class, but have since learned to love anything taught by Mosher. His classes are not for those students who refuse to think critically though! If you truly want to learn, take a class taught by Mosher.

History of Sport. Spends more time trying to convert the class to communism than to try to teach history of sport. He makes his points very clear, but has an extreme bias in his teachings. He does know his stuff very well. Too bad that he teaches much more from opinion than from fact. Take the class for entertainment, but not for real learning

HISTORY OF SPORT. Mosher is a great professor. Insightful views and connections between sport and society and their relationship. I took the class based on a recommendation, I would recommend to anyone! Mosher makes the class interesting because of his teaching style. You will have to work some to do the final paper. Not much homework otherwise.

Simply the best. I can honestly say the man changed my life and to this day, I think about him regularly. I thank him sincerely for all he has done for me (and he probably doesn't even know). For those of you confused in his classes, just try to learn bigger lessons, and forget about the small stuff. He's into the big and meaningful things.
