This professor is the absolute best! I have had him for three courses and he is a very fair and informative professor. He is very knowledge about the course material and criminal justice issues and events outside the course. The lectures are very good and informative and very interesting. He is one of the best professors, if not the best at UML.

TAKE HIS CLASS. Expect homework, participation matters, extremely interesting, sense of humor, there for you no problem, clear grading criteria, assigns papers you have to work at but if you have been doing assignments you will be OK, treats you like the adult you are & expects you to act like an adult, very fair & cares a lot about every student.

The class is in an auditorium setting. What he teaches is easy but the notes dont really help. The tests can be easily passed if you do the study guide and memorize all of it. Attendance is required to bump you up if you need it. Super easy class

Best elective I've taken in a while. Larry is a riot with his stories... not sure all of them help improve police/community relations though. He just wants to get across: don't break the law because then you really are f'ked (more ways then one). The chili pepper was made for guys like him. You stay classy Larry!

He is very confusing for grad-level criminology course. Does not explain assignments well or tell you your grade.then when you ask questions or clarification he will insult you and make tou feel insignificant because he has a Phd.Stay away from his grad classes!

He talks about his Porsche a lot. Sometimes he's funny but if not, it's such a bad joke it ends up being funny anyway. He's really lenient just don’t ask him too many questions. Also just buy an older version of the book. His TA is his slave. By the end of the semester you will be deaf from hearing his high pitched voice trough the microphone.

Ridiculous CJ course. He doesn't explain assignments and then when you ask questions he is condescending and tries to make you feel like an idiot because he has a phd and you don't.

Took his class as an elective. Easiest class ever! He gives you a really clear study guide before every test, so you just have to know everything on that sheet and you can an A. Take notes if you dont want to buy the book. But the book helps you pass the exams more than his notes do.

easy class and a nice guy. he tries to be funny, and it usually works. sometimes he gets off topic but he definitely knows what he's talking about. if you skip 3 or less classes he boosts your grade by 1 letter. don't really need to take notes, everything is in the book. take his classes if you can!
