Hey tests arent just multiple choice, theyre choose all answers that apply which makes it difficult. Her lectures arent that great- very confusing, doesnt follow flow of textbook and she uses jargon students dont know. Tests are not on material from lectures.

Dr. Machell gives a lot of work to help you get a few extra points here and there. She replies to emails promptly and will meet with you via zoom when needed. She is very tough when it comes to grading and also uses honorlock, which she is harsh about as well. Just make sure you have lots of time unlike me (mom of 2 with 2 jobs) and you'll be ok.

She is one of the worst teachers I have ever had! A&P IS THE HARDEST class, and she makes it even HARDER. You put in the effort - you get an F. She will chase after you for honorlock cheating all the time, no matter what! SHE IS AWFUL! PLEASE TAKE ANOTHER TEACHER!

Dr. Machell is one of my favorite teachers I have ever had. It is not an easy class no matter who you take it with, but she gives you what you need to succeed. If you put in the effort you get the reward. I learned so much! These classes so prepared me for my future science classes and career. So grateful for her. Not an easy A, a good A.

Accused me of cheating when I did not cheat. More than once. Unresponsive. Awful professor. Maybe shes okay in person but I highly recommend staying away from her during the pandemic and online courses. Seems to be way too paranoid about cheating and way too obsessive over how things are done.

This teacher is horrible. She always assume students are cheating when we are on webcam we have to show the whole room in order to take the test. WHAT MORE DO YOU WANT ? Please do not miss a letter in a word or spell anything wrong or else it will all be considered wrong. You are not even allowed to go back to double check your answers ON your test

Do not ever take this professor. She gives citations for academic dishonesty for the tiniest movements she finds suspicious (cites not being centered in the camera as academic dishonesty). She does not care about the students at all especially when it's already difficult for students who don't learn online well, she only wants to make it harder.

Do NOT take this professor. She makes the class and exams extremely difficult. Writes up students weekly for academic dishonesty. Crazy serious about honorlock! She makes it seem like shes helpful but tells you to refer back to the syllabus for everything. I regret not listening to the reviews before registering. Trust me DO NOT TAKE HER !!!

Wish she taught more courses! Exams notoriously difficult. U either know it or fail. No word banks/extra credit! Take the time & learn. Memorize the material. She's systematically organized, has specific criterias, & actively responds to emails. She answers additional questions/willing to clarify/help you if asked. Lectures easy to understand.

Professor Machell is simply amazing. Biology is hard, there is no easy way around that. I took her for BIO 150 &151. She literally gives you what you need to pass but what she will not tell you how to use it. Critical thinking is a must. Study for test using the core competencies that she provides. I've learned so much and feel very prepared.

P. Machell know biology with her eyes closed. If you don't know biology don't take her. If you miss spell a word by just missing one letter it's wrong and she won't give you a T for trying. P. Machell is good in biology but if you not good don't take her she will make it harder for you and take every point you try to get away from you if she can.

This professor is a very meticulous grader, but if you put in the effort you'll do just fine. She lectures very well & gives you all the materials you need in order to do well. Tests are tough but not impossible. After finishing bio with her, you'll actually feel like you learned something, which will help you in the long run.
