I took ATC systems with Professor Parrot and really enjoyed the class. I am not an aviation major, but am required to take the class and learned a lot. His sense of humor will have you laughing hard at 8 am. Mr. Parrot also has career experience that provides context for his lectures. Excellent professor and academic advisor. Id highly recommend

Bill is great. His class is very straightforward and informational. His tests are multiple choice and directly from the hand outs. He is accommodating and focused on student success. His lectures are enjoyable.

Bill is a very respectable person. He has a lot of great aviation knowledge, and will make sure that you are successful if you put in the work. His class was a mixture of him lecturing, watching videos, and listening to ATC audio. The tests were straight from the review sheet.

Bill is a great guy. He has a lot of aviation experience, and is always respectful and accommodating. The class isn't challenging, but you can't necessarily blow it off either. He makes lectures fun and interesting for anyone interested in aviation.

Honestly Parrot is overrated. His handout material is confusing. He gives you handouts and exam reviews but are handwritten & not crystal clear. His test are tricky if you want an A. The exam review guides are barely helpful because you dont find half of those answers in the handouts, you have to ask him verbally for it so you can write it down.

One of the best teachers out there. He teaches you exactly what you need to know and nothing else. He will show you interesting videos, has very funny stories and i love his political side jokes. He goes on tours to the Tower,ARTCC,and TRACON. Went to them all even went numerous times.Some notes in class, but he hammers what is necessary. Great guy

I took Mr. Parrot for Aviation Regulations and ATC Systems and he is by far the best teacher I have EVER had. He is a must teacher. I can honestly say i took the least notes in his class and remember the most out of it. His teaching is just brilliant and he cares a lot about his students.

Nice guy overall, knows allot about ATC. Hard communicate with. Hardly ever got back to my emails. Most of the time I had to walk into a class he was teaching to get find him. This was an out of classroom internship I took with him.

Parrot's classes are glass plate tests. That is to say, if he holds a glass plate in front of your face, and it fogs up, you've got an A. Some character flaws, class can get boring, but the easy A more than makes up for it. Tip for Fall semester Finals: Rudolph is the reindeer with the red nose.

Parrot is by far the best teacher in the aviation department at Lewis University, possibly even the best teacher in the whole school. He has helped me not only in my aviation studies but also in other stuff as well. Very smart man. As bad as the Lewis Aviation program is, it would be 10 times worse without Parrot. Also he is very fair on grading.
