Kreuz is a nice man, very smart, and knows subject matter well. He tries to make class interesting - can tell he puts a lot of time & thought into lectures - I'm not sure if there is a way to make this subject more interesting or fun. Perhaps a change in the delivery would help-he's just a true scientist- will help if asked. Must study to pass

Hard teacher, hard class. He taught it well though. Take notes during class, pay attention, read the textbook, study well, and you'll somehow pass.

Dr. Kreuz is extremely on top of his stuff. He does pretty good to keep it interesting, but he also puts the PPT online so sometimes you can just doze off. Tests are pulled 5050 from PPT's and textbook so that's kinda tricky. He gives a huge curve though. So you don't need to beat the test, just be better than the rest of the class.

He tests you on half the material from the book and half from your notes. He really tries to be interesting and engaging, but his lectures seem overly rehearsed. He seems annoyed when you interrupt him to ask a question. He's not the friendliest person outside the classroom, I found his tests to be easy though.

Perceptual psychology is very interesting. Kreuz was a good teacher near the beginning of the semester showing lots of enthusiasm and engaging examples in class but later on, he just became dull. I don't know if its because he demoralized the class or the class demoralized him. Either way, he should strive to always be engaging and not lackluster.

Thinking and cognitive processes is an interesting topic and Kruez understands it well. His teaching style, however, offers little flexibility towards students' learning styles. I noticed that his exams are mainly memorization of the subject and not about UNDERSTANDING of the material. He's a good teacher, but should approximate himself to be GREAT

Kreuz is definitely on top of the material that he teaches in class, is extremely well versed and very knowledgable. His interest in sharing knowledge with the students is there, however, his teaching style could be improved upon. If you're interested in memorizing material as opposed to applying understanding, then he is the guy for you.

This class is such a bore. The professor is interested in what he is teaching, but the information is boring. It is a total lecture class, with three test only. He always curves his grades because the questions on the test are a little misunderstood.

Dr. Kreuz isn't a bad teacher. His gives powerpoint lectures everyday and 4 exams that are multiple choice with 3 short answer questions. No extra credit no matter what though so stay on top of everything in this class cause there's no second chances. The material can be challenging if you're not a big biology kind of person so just hang in there!

Perceptual Psychology - This guy ROCKS! Anyone who felt the need to bash this professor just isn't willing to learn, and frankly, I'm wondering why you're in college. Dr. Kreuz is highly recommended in my book, so much so that I'm already set to take another course that he teaches.

Perceptual Psychology....Dr. Kreuz is great. Very clear, precise lectures and will help in anyway possible for you to understand. 4exams=multiple choice and short answer, but he gives short answer ?'s ahead of time to study. Great prof!

I won't knock him too harshly, but I found him to be hard! I personally didn't care for his teaching style and it's a lot of notetaking too. Attendance isn't mandatory yet if you know you don't go to class regularly, get the book since they're will be study questions after very four chapters.

I hated this class, it was too complex when it didn't have to be. The entire class consists of 3 exams that are essay only. I dropped out and retook the class with Holly White, got an A. I loved it the next time I took it but hated it when he taught it.

Cog/thk class. he is sooooo boring. His idea of lecturing class is to read his power point presentation, which would be helpful to put them on-line so students could print out.He only has 3 tests which consist of class notes and very little info from the book. His test are multiple choice/3 essay ?'s. would not take him again

This man is awful. He teaches like a robot. The test are foreign and its to much information. You WILL be in class from the time the class start until two minutes after the class is scheduled to end. If you can help please don't take this boring robot.

He does not seem very personable, but he is just very smart. His tests are mostly from the lecture, just a little from the book. I only read parts of the book to find more clarified answers for the possible essay questions. He gives a study list of possible essay questions (usually 3 of 8 are on the test). The final grade is made up entirely of test

Very straightforward and a little boring. Has to curve grades quite a bit b/c everyone does so poorly. But I don't think it's his fault. It's just that there's too much material to cover. He covered alot in lectures and still had alot of info not covered in class on the tests. He is an extremely smart man though.

Anybody who gives Dr. Kreuz a bad rating just doesn't have an interest in Psychology. This man is one of the most concise and interesting professors at the U of M. The tests are not hard, almost everything comes straight from the lectures and a little from the book. Take him if you can!
