Took an online course with this professor. Hes so unclear in his instructions. His syllabus is all over the place. Unclear exactly what hes looking for. Doesnt give you your grades assignments until the end... so if youve been doing something wrong the whole time, tough. He replies to emails. Ill give him that. Easy class but hes a mess.

Comment:

Research Methods was one of the hardest courses I have taken and it was at 7:45am. However, Dave was always cracking jokes to keep the class engaged which made waking up early worth it. You will also learn a lot. Dave was very kind and understanding when I had a family emergency mid-semester. Not sure how I got an A. I definitely recommend him!

Honestly, research meth with Dave was not bad! The beginning of the class about concepts was much harder than the math portion. Go to office hours because that's where you really learn. He might make jokes but if you pay attention, his jokes have meaning. Heard he just gives everyone a B but not sure how accurate that is. Do the 8am class for an A.

One of the best professors here at RWU. Always tries to make his students laugh all throughout class but learn at the same time. It can tough to understand where he's going with his lecture but he always makes sure people get it at the end.

I loved my time in Dave's class. He genuinely makes the topics interesting and relatable and speaks to us on a level that is not condescending/pretentious like other professors. I appreciate his approaches and how real-world examples come into play. My best friend was in my class and we still talk about some things we learned. You won't regret it!!

If you take this class, you better know right away that Moskowitz is an absolute clown. He will curse, make fun of students, and just do some weird stuff. But if you can get past that, he is a good professor who truly knows a lot of American government and does a good job of helping kids who are struggling. Would recommend him for sure.

Dave is very funny but it is a total distraction from learning. Even when I was 100 % sure i knew what I was doing he would still give me a low grade. His explanation makes no sense and he doesn't teach you half of the material that you need to know.

least conventional class you'll take at roger, and you'll have a lot of fun. He tells you exactly what to do for tests which are usually open note and for papers, so if you prepare what he says you're fine! I've seen a lot of kids get Cs because they think because he jokes he wont take grading seriously. Go to his office hours, he's so helpful.

AMAZING PROFESSOR. His lectures are engaging and highly interactive. He does a phenomenal job relating the course material (History of democracy) to students every day lives and decisions. Overall awesome guy, awesome professor. Every student should take the time to get to know him outside of class, he's super interesting and really helpful!!!

Every class is a lecture but they are informative, easy to follow, and rather entertaining. He connects historic concepts to things like modern television shows. Keep up! He talks a lot and so you should write a lot. He gives a lot of reading to do but as long as you keep up with the notes you may not need to read everything.

hes a very funny guy, I would totally take him again. But i didn't really learn much in his class that I didn't already know, partially cause we went by the book and it was not a very good book. But overall very kind professor who really loves what he does, and he seems to genuinly care for his students And he is HILARIOUS! You won't regret taking

He's so hilarious and so nice. He'll only pick on you if he knows you can handle it. For instance if you're the quiet shy girl in the back he won't try to bother you or embarrass you! Loved his lectures, everything was related to present day to better understand which I loved.

Okay the guy is hilarious but he is an awful professor. Awful explanations and doesn't seem to care. Takes jokes too far and can be quite offensive. Don't recommend taking for credit. Don't expect to be taught anything, memorizing the book is the only way you can dream of passing the midterm and final. It's no surprise that he was fired once before

the whole class is lecture based with notes. Pretty funny guy that isn't just the typical professor that just lectures to students. The class is mainly 2 exams so you need to read to do decent on the exams because they are moderately hard. Attendance and participation is a small percentage so you need to show up.
